Hi! I’m Kristin! I’m in my twenties and originally from CT, but I’ve been living in NYC since graduating from college. I work in marketing, but I’ve always loved working with children and I’d love to support your family! I’m available most weeknights and weekends. I have over 10 years of childcare experience caring for children of all ages and backgrounds. I’m energetic, engaging, and love creating fun, age-appropriate enrichment activities, while also being attentive to specific routines and preferences. For infants and toddlers, I am experienced in bottle and meal preparation/feeding, diaper changes, potty training, bath and bedtime routines, and following set schedules. For older children, I have a background in tutoring students from elementary school through college, so I’m happy to help with academic work. I’m also fluent in Spanish and ASL. I have experience caring for children with disabilities and specialized needs. I’m happy to work closely with your family to ensure consistency with therapies, behavioral strategies, sensory needs, medication schedules, and other care plans. I’m CPR/First Aid certified, fully vaccinated, a non-smoker, and I’m committed to providing a safe, reliable, and positive environment for your children. I’m also comfortable with travel, public transportation, overnights and caring for multiple children, including twins and triplets. I also have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record if transportation is needed. While the safety of your family is my top priority, I’m also happy to help with light household tasks, pet care, errands, and other family needs. I will ensure your home is clean and I will respect any house rules you have in place. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family! I’m happy to provide references, schedule an introductory call, or arrange a trial visit to ensure we are a great fit!
Hi! I’m Divya, a 26-year-old finance professional living in NYC. I’m available in the evenings and on weekends and I love spending time with kids and helping families out. I’ve been caring for children for many years-from keeping infants and little ones entertained with games and crafts to helping older kids with homework or getting them to activities on time. I’m happy to help with light housework, laundry, or meal prep, and I’m always up for a trip to the park or some fun, active play. Families tell me I’m energetic, caring, and easy to work with. I make it a priority to create a safe, happy, and engaging environment for kids, whether we’re cooking together, doing a puzzle, or winding down with a story. * I am CPR and First Aid certified
Currently a media professional, I’ve always loved caring for others. I grew up with the mindset that if you take care of your community, your community will take care of you. I worked at my family’s daycare center for 5 years while in high school and some throughout college. While in college a volunteered at an underserved after school program, where I established a library and secured grants to expand the program. Working with families and children, while helping them flourish has always been a passion.
“My dog is really shy and anxious, but bonded really well with Olivia. She sent photos and videos throughout to show me he was having the best time!”
Glorious Day! I am Atmavidya "Adryn" Mari. I am a Bhakti Yoga practitioner who recently relocated from Houston, Texas, to New York City to teach Eastern Yogic Philosophy to high school youth. I am a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner with a B.S. in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, yet my passion resides in the cultivation of sustainable living and lifestyle choices through Bhakti Yoga. Recently, I have been using my Ayurvedic degree to support individuals and families to transition their kitchens to be more environmentally conscious with a local, whole foods focus. This is something I am enthused to speak of more and happy to integrate into my interactions with your family, if interested. I taught three years of gardening classes at Durham Elementary while living in Houston. It was a gift to witness the enthusiasm and wonder of young minds experiencing food grown through their influence. I have also tutored in English and facilitated an after school program at a middle school in Northern California. I enjoy allowing children exploratory experiences as their minds are young and shaped by engagement. I tend to give children parameters, rather than hard rules. I love reading with a cup of herbal tea or chai, taking nature walks, playing in the garden, visiting the farmer's market, meal prepping, experimental food creations, painting, coloring, embroidery and laying in the grass looking at the sky. These are all activities I am open to sharing with your child(ren). Caveat: I am a strict vegetarian, so I am unable to feed or cook with meat, eggs, or fish. Yet, my child-friendly cooking skills are on point - Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, marinara with hidden vegetables, fruit salad, blueberry pancakes, just to name a few. My smile is contagious. I appreciate sharing hugs. I am overly honest and handle feedback well. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and consider me as member of your success team. Looking forward to getting to know you and supporting your family, if my profile resonates. May the universe continue to share an abundance of love.
“Adryn has babysat for me many times. She was incredibly thoughtful and nurturing to my little one. She created space for both active play and intentional rest. My daughter was usually fully engaged in activities when I came to pick her up and she couldn’t wait to hang out with Adryn again. I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter with her, knowing she would be well fed, respected, and cared for.”
Hello everyone! My name is Kamila and I have been living in NYC for a little over 6 years. I moved here after going to music school in Boston. I’m a singing songwriter and work within arts administration/operations. Since moving to the city, I have worked with children ages 3 to 11, and I’ve learned so much. I enjoy fostering a sense of creativity and playfulness in the kids I get to hang with, and I’ve also taught beginner piano lessons for families around NYC and Brooklyn. I also have been petsitting/housesitting for doggies and kitties on the east and west coasts of the US and abroad over the last 3-4 years. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your family :)
“Without hesitation, if you are looking for someone to care for your child/children…look no further! Kamila’s kindhearted and creative sensibilities allow her to engage with children at their level while still ensuring structure when needed. Our 5 year old son always looked forward to having her care for him. Kamila would respond promptly to my texts/calls while caring for him and would also send pictures of their day together. Kamila was very accommodating in many ways, from last minute care requests, to caring for him in untraditional locations (like in a recreation complex), to even helping support our family while moving. She consistently arrived to work on time and never called out last minute. (In fact, I’m not sure she ever called out!) Even though we only had Kamila with our family for a few months before she moved, she quickly became a delightful addition to our family. She would be the same for you.....enjoy!”
