Hello there! A little bit about me 😊 I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with the goal of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist! I have 4 going on 5 years of experience working with children in special education, ABA, early intervention, private nannying, and childcare. Most of my experience comes from working at a school for children with autism and an early intervention center. I love keeping childcare fun, playful, and lighthearted, while also being comfortable working with a variety of behaviors, developmental needs, and communication styles. I bring patience, structure, and an educated approach while still making sure kids can be kids! I’m currently looking for a part-time position of around 20 hours a week or less. I’m especially experienced with special needs children, but am just as comfortable with typically developing children. Please reach out if we sound like a good fit! 😊
Hi there! My name is Gigi. I'm originally from Seattle and currently live in Bushwick/Ridgewood. I attended the University of San Francisco, where I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Media Studies. I have been in NYC since 2018 and worked as a long term nanny and family assistant until 2023, when I stepped away to focus on my artistic pursuits! I was a dancer for a long while and have more recently been pursuing performance art and physical theatre by way of theatre clowning! I am taking a show I have written and directed with a dear friend to Edinburgh Fringe Festival later this summer :). I have missed working with young ones and so I am back! Play, discovery, and having a healthy relationship with The Flop (failure) is important to my work as a performance artist as well as when I work with kids. I'm learning no other work is as enriching or fulfilling...so here I am! I am passionate about nurturing and supporting a child's creativity, curiosity, and individuality, as well as building healthy self-esteem! While I don't have any official certifications or training in childcare, I've learned a lot and have had great success through teaching dance and tutoring. In my own personal life, a lot of work is centered on using the arts as a healing modality, as well as working through generational trauma and dysfunctional family patterns and behaviors. I find that this work has taught me to become a more empathetic, nurturing, and patient person and has greatly impacted how I relate to children in particular. I am incredibly careful and intentional with my time spent around kids and hope to provide only the warmest, most supportive, and gently engaging environment. Thank you so much for your consideration and time and I look forward to supporting your family any way I can!

Hello! I'm Daniela, . I have experience and excellent references in NYC with children of different ages, and I'm also a mom, which has taught me patience, empathy, and creativity in daily childcare. I have a genuine connection with kids and enjoy watching them grow and learn. I am affectionate, patient and funny! Vaccinations up to date (COVID-19, TDAP, flu) Comfortable with pets Non-smoker Authorized to work in the USA I would love to teach your child Spanish, yes this is a plus that you look for in your family..
Hello, my name is Leesie! I’m currently a student attending St. John’s University pursuing my undergrad in health & human services. After college I plan to work with children with special needs - my inspiration for this is my dear brother Lincoln whom has autism. He’s my super star and I’ve helped my mom raise him up since I was 10 until leaving home to pursue my education. I hope to be able to help families out there that need assistance with their children from a wide range of ages; struggling work and home life which I know can be super stressful. My interests are out door activities, painting, sports and reading. I have no problem with cleaning after kids/ keeping things tidy also helping with homework if needed… however if you require me to cook I am working on my skills but I’d say I have a moderate ability to do so as a young adult and open to learning more through out this experience.

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
