Hello! I’m Max, a dedicated father to a 6-year-old boy and a seasoned child care professional with over a decade of experience. My background spans various educational and recreational settings, including roles as a Pre-K specialist, PE instructor, and summer camp division leader. I’ve managed over 129 babysitting bookings on Urbansitter, receiving 47 five-star reviews from satisfied families. My experience extends from working with infants to older children, and I've been actively involved in schools, camps, and after-school programs. This includes babysitting occasionally, teaching PE, sports clinics, martial arts, and leading trips with responsibility for both staff and students. I take pride in connecting with kids through my sense of humor and caring nature. As a black belt in martial arts, I incorporate this into my work with school programs. I also love engaging children in STEM projects, arts and crafts, and sports. I’m familiar with popular children's shows and games like Pokémon, Frozen, Minecraft, and Bluey, and I make an effort to connect with kids by sharing their interests. I’m skilled at resolving conflicts, multitasking, and providing a supportive environment where children feel heard. My activities include reading books, hands-on STEM projects, arts and crafts, sports, board games, puzzles, and enrichment activities upon request. I’m CPR and RTE certified and look forward to learning more about you and your children. Thanks for considering me for your babysitting needs!

Maxbova was punctual, attentive, and followed our son’s routines perfectly. He kept him engaged with playful activities, communicated updates throughout the day, and cared for him with kindness and skill. We felt completely at ease knowing our son was in such capable hands.

Hi! I'm Olivia. Thanks for visiting my profile. A little about me: I have 15 years of experience as both a full-time and part-time babysitter. I started babysitting in 2011, when I was a freshman at NYU. I'm now 33 and a freelance writer and editor. From 2011 to 2017 (before I left NYC temporarily for grad school), I babysat for 10-40 hours each week. My experience ranges from newborns to 14-year-olds, with every age in between. I especially enjoy sharing my love of books & reading. I love chatting with kids, answering their (hilarious/profound/thought-provoking) questions, and playing their favorite off-screen game. I was born in Manhattan, and I grew up in North and South Florida. Outside babysitting, I worked as a substitute teacher while attending grad school. From 2[removed], I was a full-time teacher at a private school in Florida, where I taught fourth grade reading, writing and science. I am skilled in social-emotional learning (SEL) and working with children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), Levels I, I, and III; OCD; and ADHD. I am also skilled in helping kids cope with anxiety, anxious thinking, or anxiety-related behavior patterns. My hobbies include reading, spending time with my friends, kayaking, and archery. I also have an M.F.A. in fiction writing, and I love talking to both kids and adults about books and writing! Some other helpful info: I am comfortable with pets and light housework/pet care. I am not comfortable babysitting children who are not feeling well/sick/contagious. Please let me know ahead of time if this becomes the case!

Olivia was punctual and professional. My daughter connected with her right away, and i was happy to return to a content daughter. Thanks so much!

Resume Link:[removed] Hi, my name is Lindsey! I love working with children of all ages, especially infants and toddlers! I have an associate degree in early childhood education from Sauk Valley Community College and plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in the future. I have experience as a summer and after-school counselor, working with kids aged K-5th grade, and, most recently, as a full-time assistant daycare teacher in a 15-30 month classroom. I would also occasionally work in the daycare infant room when needed. One of the main reasons I love working with children is their innate love for exploration, creativity, and learning; just like myself! I believe that children need a strong, safe, and trustworthy support system to thrive, and I will provide all of those qualities. I love to sing, dance, read, write, craft, explore new places, and spend time in nature; all of which are traits that I directly apply when working with children. Furthermore, I am deeply passionate about teaching children age-appropriate emotional intelligence and regulation. While working in daycare, I taught my toddlers the names and feelings of different emotions, breathing exercises, how to find a trusted adult in times of emotional distress, how to say to a peer “Stop!” and “I do not like that!”, healthy ways to express anger, frustration, or other “upset” emotions without physically harming oneself or others, and where to find a safe and calm space to “calm their body.” For me, helping a child grow emotionally is incredibly rewarding, and I am ready and willing to nurture this growth with every child I work with. In addition to childcare, I am experienced in caring for dogs, cats, bearded dragons or similar reptiles, hedgehogs, beta fish, and parakeets (my family has had lots of pets over the years!). Additionally, having worked multiple customer service jobs and maintained the cleanliness of a toddler classroom, I am highly experienced in housekeeping services and running errands.

Trustworthy and reliable experience for us as we had no idea where to start or who to use to watch our 4 kids in the hotel room when we’re visiting the city! Thank you!! My kids were happy and were well cared for!
