I studied English at Yale with a concentration in Writing, and spent a year as a Teacher’s Aide at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, where I worked with students across multiple grade levels. I also spent 3 years as a swim instructor at Empire Swim School in Tarrytown, teaching kids of all ages and skill levels to swim, so I’m very comfortable working with children in all kinds of settings. Additionally I have years of experience nannying and babysitting kids of all ages. As a varsity athlete who trained 20+ hours a week, I bring a lot of energy, patience, and structure to everything I do. Hi! My name is Giada, and I’m currently a sophomore at CUNY Hunter College studying Social Work. I’m planning to apply to the BSW program, and I’m especially interested in working in mental health and helping others. I’ve always loved babysitting, mostly because I had a babysitter growing up who I really loved and looked forward to spending time with. I’ve been working with children since I was around 14 and have experience caring for toddlers and older children. I’ve also volunteered and worked at a summer camp for young children, which gave me even more experience spending time with and caring for kids.
