Hi! I’m Aubrey. Nice to meet you! I’ve lived in Brooklyn for over three years now and currently live in Gowanus. Before moving to NYC for my day job, I spent an incredible year and a half as a live-in au pair in London after graduating from college. While an au pair, I looked after two kids—1.5 y/o girl and a 4 y/o boy—which gave me lots of hands-on experience from morning routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, and outings to parks and museums, to evening babysitting. I loved my time with the kids, and so continuing to babysit alongside my day job here in NYC. Outside of work, I love staying active and spending time outdoors. I ran the NYC Marathon last fall, and when I’m not running around the neighborhood, I love cooking and spending time with friends and family.

A little bit about me, I am originally from Kanas City and went to college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In high school and college, I babysat frequently for multiple families as well as worked at a daycare for six years. During my time at the daycare, I cared for children 6 weeks old to 10 years old. I received my Master's in Elementary Education and am certified to teach K-6. During my graduate year of college, I completed a year-long internship and student taught in kindergarten, third-grade, and sixth-grade classrooms. Since moving to New York, I have taught as a lead teacher in a two year old classroom at a daycare, nannied over the summer, and taught third grade for two years in the Bronx.
