I grew up babysitting my younger cousins quite frequently, and as I got older I started babysitting for family friends and families from my church. Over the years I have really come to love babysitting because getting to know each kid is such a fun and new experience. I’ve always loved kids because they are so naturally loving and full of surprises. Because of this, babysitting can sometimes be a challenge, but I pride myself in staying calm even under pressure. I also have experience in sewing, baking, arts and crafts, and would be able to help with early stages of childhood literacy, reading comprehension, or homework. I am also willing to help with light meal prep and tidying up at the end of the day. Punctuality, safety, and household rules and routines are my top priorities. Hello! I am a Kent State student majoring in Early Childhood Education! My dream is to teach grades 1-3! I am providing part-time child care services. I have worked in a daycare setting throughout college. I have been with all age groups there, from 6 months all the way to kindergarten. With my major, I work with kids from ages 5-12!

What makes me a good caregiver is having fun and building connections with the one’s I will supervise. I have two dogs and also a baby cousin that I would babysit A-LOT so i would say that i am experienced in caregiving for infants/toddlers, pets, and possibly seniors. I am also a very clean person so the family will not have to worry about coming back home to a mess. I chose this because I feel like I have a connection with babies I just love them, and also pets.

I have no professional experience I’ve only ever taken care of my little siblings, my own daughter and I’ve helped friends babysit over the years i’ve babysat kids from ages newborn-10 years old and I help my mother raise my little siblings the oldest is 10 and the youngest is 1.5 years old.
