Hi!! My name is Layla and I am currently a freshman at Kent State majoring in fashion design. I grew up babysitting my younger cousins quite frequently, and as I got older I started babysitting for family friends and families from my church. Over the years I have really come to love babysitting because getting to know each kid is such a fun and new experience. I’ve always loved kids because they are so naturally loving and full of surprises. Because of this, babysitting can sometimes be a challenge, but I pride myself in staying calm even under pressure. I also have experience in sewing, baking, arts and crafts, and would be able to help with early stages of childhood literacy, reading comprehension, or homework. Hello! I am a Kent State student majoring in Early Childhood Education! My dream is to teach grades 1-3! I am providing part-time child care services. I have worked in a daycare setting throughout college. I have been with all age groups there, from 6 months all the way to kindergarten. With my major, I work with kids from ages 5-12!

Hola! I enjoy helping others and love working with the littles, after all they are our future! I have my CDA (child development associate) as well as CPR First Aid, and other certifications needed to work in the professional childcare setting. I taught early childhood for 8 years before obtaining a science degree. I enjoy learning about other cultures and their languages; fun fact I know 6 languages. I have found being able to teach younger children different languages/cultures to be both beneficial and fun! Also, I have other skills I can share with your young ones such as tutoring needs or homework help, dancing, safe cooking skills modified to the age, and perhaps more. I would love to be able to support you in helping your child(ren) grow into their best selves! If you need I can help around the house with cleaning or even errands! As much as I adore animals from afar, I am pretty allergic to dander from dogs and cats when around them too long. :-( I am willing to help families with cats/dogs with one time jobs for a couple hours.
