Essington
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 22 families in Darby, PA

Hi everyone! My name is Arielle! I am 28 years old and I work full time as a flight attendant based out of PHL. Originally from New Jersey, but I’ve lived in Florida a majority of my life working for the theme parks in the Orlando area (both Seaworld and Universal) and spent time as a theme park nanny! I’ve been working with children since age 16 and have cared for a wide range of ages and multiples; although most of my experience has been with newborns and up to age 6, I have plenty of experience with ages 7+ and enjoy caring for them just as much! I have worked for Corporate Kids Events, a company that specializes in childcare for large events, working in the newborn to 2 year old age group. I nannied in 2017 for a few families and was part of a nanny share briefly! Some fun facts about me include I was on my high school swim team for 3 years and I am a middle child of 6 with the age gap between my youngest sibling and I being 17 years! Please reach out with any questions regarding my schedule; I am pretty flexible on weekdays and weekends but advanced notice is best for me. My Urbansitter availability is always up to date so please refer to that if you are interested in booking!

Ava Folsom
$16 per hour for 1 child

My name is Ava, and I am an 18-year-old caregiver with experience in babysitting, pet sitting, and house sitting. I have approximately four years of hands-on experience caring for children and over eight years of experience working with animals. I am reliable, responsible, and dedicated to creating a safe, clean, and positive environment for families and pets. I have three to four years of experience caring for toddlers and grade-school children. While my experience with infants is limited, I am eager and willing to learn. I am comfortable assisting with daily routines such as getting children ready for school or bed, preparing basic meals, helping with homework, and maintaining schedules. I enjoy engaging children through activities like coloring, watching shows, playing games, and taking them to parks or fun outings. I also have my own car, allowing me to safely transport children to and from school or activities when needed. Additionally, I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED. In terms of pet care, I have experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs of all sizes and breeds—from Cane Corsos to Yorkies—as well as reptiles and small animals. My services include feeding, walking, playing, basic training, cage cleaning, and general care. I have no allergies and am comfortable caring for long-haired animals and pets of any size. For household support, I offer cleaning, tidying, laundry, organizing, plant care, cooking basic meals, and running errands. I can also provide my own cleaning supplies if required. I take pride in being dependable, adaptable, and attentive to the unique needs of each household.

Sarah 2 reviews
Philadelphia
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Darby, PA

Hi! I'm Sarah, it's nice to meet you! My education: I recently graduated from college with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Philosophy. Currently I am a graduate student pursuing a Master's in Professional Counseling. I have taken classes on development and childhood as part of my course work. My experience with children: I have babysat mostly school-age children in the past (5-13), but I have some experience with toddlers as well. I also used to lead a crafting and learning time at a nature center in high school, where I taught kids about an aspect of nature/the environment and lead them through a related art project. I am able to help with homework and love making learning fun. My experience with pets: I have owned many different kinds of pets including dogs, snakes, birds, bunnies, and even an alligator! I love animals and am a fast learner for any animal I don't have experience with. A bit about me: I am the oldest of 7 kids, so growing up I often took on caretaking roles around the house. I loved tutoring my younger siblings, cooking dinner for my family, and generally "babysitting" them when my parents weren't home. My oldest brother is on the autism spectrum and has a variety of special needs, which has given me some first hand experience with what taking care of a special needs individual can look like. My siblings also gave me experience navigating dietary restrictions and severe allergies.

Sarah works great with my daughter & we look forward to seeing her again!
