My educational background includes an Associate Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, providing me with a strong foundation in child development, behavior, learning, and mental health. In addition, I hold a certification in Behavioral Health, which has enhanced my ability to implement effective behavioral interventions and support strategies. Throughout my career, I have worked in early childhood education, behavioral health, and specialized support settings, helping children develop social, emotional, behavioral, and academic skills. I am an experienced educator who has worked with children of all ages, teaching arts programs for kids and teens and serving as Director of several arts schools in the Philadelphia area. I hold two master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, maintain current Pennsylvania clearances, and can support your child with reading, homework, educational projects, and creative activities. I am also a lifelong animal lover. I’ve fostered many cats and rabbits, currently care for a dog and two cats, and have experience with turtles and fish. I’m comfortable providing attentive, compassionate care for a wide range of pets. In addition, I’m happy to offer caregiving and companionship for a senior parent or relative. I am a dancer artist, educator and have worked with children my entire adult life. I have over 30 years experience teaching children of all ages, including pre-school age all the way thru high school. I have taught at the college level as well, for many years as an adjunct faculty. During the pandemic I was a full time care giver for my elderly mother and discontinued all my teaching and creative projects. I recently moved back to Philadelphia, my home of 30+ years and I am looking for part-time work as I start up my free lance work again. I am 62, married with no children of my own.
