I have experience sitting for kids since I was 14 years old, who were mainly in the elementary to middle school age range, however I am fine with watching toddlers as well. I used to assist my aunt with toddlers at her in-home daycare. My responsibilities have been summer camp drop off and pick up, crafts, zoo outings, and etc. I have a corgi and a cat, so I am familiar with pets.

I have been a household manager for a family for the past 12 years. I worked for the family’s company, but only working from their home taking care of everything from cleaning, taking daily care of the family parrot and dog to running all kinds of errands for their home here and also their lake home in Lynchburg. They recently sold the company which eliminated my full time job. I still work for them but only on as needed basis. I am a 56 year old mother to a 31 year old son who he and his wife gave us the sweetest granddaughter over a year ago. I am also a “Lolly” to my nephew’s new baby, which makes me an adoptive grandparent since his parents are no longer with us. I have a niece who was adopted from Guatemala years ago and she was raised as my second child. Our family is very close and everyone pitches in wherever is needed. I have been married for 35 years and have lived in Franklin since 1983. I adore children and animals, with the exception of snakes. As long as I don’t have to touch or feed them, I can handle it! I would love the opportunity to care for your sweet family whether for childcare or pet care. I decided I was going to retire at my young age, but can only clean my house and meet friends for lunch for so long without it becoming repetitive! I am blessed to be in a position where I can choose what I want to do going forward and my favorite things in the world would be caring for children, loving them as a grandmother would and taking care of animals. My 2 dogs are as much a part of our family as any person could be! I have a reliable SUV and as many references as you need. i love animals and kids, both are so fun to be around and i do wanna learn more on taking care of kids too, im only 18 and live with my parents, i do have a car so there's no worry on transportation, im working another job and my scheduling is random in it but im looking for some extra money on the side for my future too, i have alot of free time majority of the time and wanna take some of it up by helping others out!
