Hello! My name is Gabrielle! I am originally from Illinois but I moved to Tennessee in June 2021. I am offering child care, pet care and household services. I have 5 years of experience with child care, 1 year with senior care and i’ve been taking care of pets for most of my life. I love being a babysitter, I have learned so much from working with children and I am so excited to get back into it. I have experience with all children ages 0-10. My responsibilities usually included prepping meals, doing small crafts and projects, providing transportation to and from school and any after school activities. Helping with after school and before bed routines. I offer household services as well, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and type of keep up or organization and running small errands. I grew up in the south, specifically Northeast Georgia in a small town called Clayton, Ga. I have babysat since I was 13. Furthermore, I am very outdoor driven and I love sports. Additionally, I love watching movies and cooking. In February 2023, I got CPR AED certified for babies, infants, pregnant women, and the elderly. Summer 2023, I babysat in NYC for a couple families. This May, I'm graduated from Sewanee, University of the South with a BS in Psychology! This summer I worked with two families. Hi there! I am a very experienced caregiver, and I’m excited to meet you and your family! While I’ve lived in Nashville for a little over 10 years, I’m originally from East Cobb in Marietta, Georgia. During my senior year of high school in Georgia, I began long-term babysitting, thus beginning my career as an educator. Caring for children is without a doubt my passion in life, and I’ve been extremely blessed to serve as an educator in various facets over the past several years! I have served as a professional governess (emphasis on teaching and intellectual advancement) and as a nanny for a myriad of families, tutored Spanish and English to children, worked as an after-school program instructor, and co-taught as a preschool instructor for 3s, 4s and 5s. During the first year of our worldwide COVID pandemic, I completed my Master of Education in Instructional Practice at Lipscomb University in Nashville. Currently, I am not averse to obtaining another advanced degree as well, will likely be medically-affiliated! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my pup, domestic & international travel, tutoring children, spending time with community, playing ultimate frisbee, running, singing/playing piano, reading, and engaging in thousand-piece puzzles, NYT word games and general brain teasers.
