I have several years of experience working with children of different ages and truly enjoy helping them learn and have fun. I began by assisting at a daycare for children ages 3-5, where I developed a strong appreciation for their curiosity and energy. I've also cared for neighborhood children ages 5-8 and spent last summer volunteering at a summer camp at the Children's Cancer Center in Tampa, working with kids ages 5-12. During my senior year of high school in Georgia, I began long-term babysitting, thus beginning my career as an educator. Following graduation, I continued taking collegiate coursework in medical sciences, Child Life and Spanish. During the first year of our worldwide COVID pandemic, I completed my Master of Education in Instructional Practice at Lipscomb University in Nashville. Currently, I am not averse to obtaining another advanced degree as well, will likely be medically-affiliated! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my pup, domestic & international travel, tutoring children, spending time with community, playing ultimate frisbee, running, singing/playing piano, reading, and engaging in thousand-piece puzzles, NYT word games and general brain teasers. I speak 4 languages and French being my first language. I always mentioned that because some family may want me to teach their kids French and I would love to do so.
