I previously was a caregiver for two years and also a clerk/coordinator/summer instructor at an after school program. I am comfortable with homework help, light housework cleaning, cooking, laundry and arts & crafts! Being a mom myself, I am open to negotiating as I believe it takes a village. Hi I’m Melody Jones and I am a 23 yr old bilingual (Spanish) Clinical Mental Health Counseling masters student at the University of Memphis. I offer various babysitting services, from set schedules to date nights and occasional help! I have over 8 years of child care experience from babysitting, nannying and other jobs. Over that time I have worked with children ranging ages 2 months- 13 years old. I enjoy working with a family that likes to get outside on a sunny Memphis day, as well as one that enjoys a good indoor craft and day well spent at home. I can assist all ages with homework as well as preparing meals, and driving them to their activities. I can also help parents with household tasks and errands to help lighten the load. I have worked with all ages through summer camps, church events, and assisted living. I have worked with infants around 8 months and older, along with plenty of experience with multiple children of all ages at once. I have taught children in a church environment, gymnastics environment, and summer camp environment. I enjoy doing outdoor activities and playing games. I have worked in home health and assisted living facility. It’s very important to me that those who aren’t as able bodies get the help and respect they deserve.

I have been in the medical field for 13 years which includes being CPR certified. I enjoy caring for other as if the were my own family. Between working in hospitals and clinics I have found that working with people is my passion. I also have a love for animals since I was a child volunteering at an animal shelter.
