Nurturing young minds is my passion. For 20 years, I've dedicated myself to providing enriching childcare experiences. My graduate degree, combined with Early Child Development coursework, has equipped me with the knowledge to support each child's unique growth. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational apps. I'm happy to help with cooking, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, including verbal updates and texts. Knowing I can positively impact your child's life and provide reliable support for your family is why I love what I do. I can comfortably care for three children and would love to bring my patient, creative, and friendly approach to your family. ***** I take Zelle for payment*****
Hi! I'm a certified teacher with a part time nanny job that ends at 1 MWF. I'm great with children of all ages, and I have 4 older children of my own. I love doing art projects, playing games, swimming, being outside, and having lots of fun! I have excellent references, and I'm a very patient and caring caregiver!
“Great experience with her last month for our multiple little ones. Will book again! ”
My name is Brooklyn; I moved to Texas from out of state. I am currently an accounting manager for a nonprofit. I am available for after-work and weekend childcare. While living in San Diego, CA, I babysat for several families. I did after-school pickup and drop off at sports for two siblings for one family, and then I did weekend babysitting for another family with two siblings. In addition to babysitting, I assisted in teaching summer dance and cheer programs for three years, I took a couple of child development classes in high school and college, volunteered to help a preschool class a few times a year at the preschool my mother worked at, and nannied a 1-year-old for a year. I also help my sister with her 6 year old twins. I have extensive knowledge of everything Disney does, know a bit about sports, and am up-to-date on kids' shows. I'm fun and energetic and love to be active and engaging. *For pet owners, please inform me if you have a cat. I am deathly allergic.*
“Brooklyn was great we look forward to having her again!”
I'm a very patient, kind and loving person. I can definitely say I do get attached to my kids/families I’ve to worked with. I’m a big outdoors person. Love being active and go out with the kiddos, to playgrounds & libraries for example. I’ve been a nanny/babysitting for almost 8 years now and I have been a supportive teacher in the past as well. I have experience with kids from 4 months on till up to 12/13 years old. One of my longest experiences as a nanny was working with 2 boys for 3 years - which the youngest is a sweet boy that has autism. My most recent experience that’s coming to an end has also been an almost 3 years with them. It started with a 13 month old that is now almost 4. But then he had a baby sister that I started caring for when she was 4 months old and will be turning 2 soon and both will be in school at that point and they won’t be needing me for my full time hours anymore. Which is the only reason we’re ending our work relationship and I’m now looking for a new family to work for.
Caring for others has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. As the oldest of three siblings, I learned early on how to nurture, support, and create a sense of safety for them. That instinct only deepened as I raised my two daughters, help care for my three grandsons, and spend over eight years working in a childcare environment. Several families have personally entrusted me with their child outside the childcare environment. I am currently a preschool teacher, and I truly enjoy going to work each day. Supporting children as they learn, grow, and express themselves is something I genuinely love. I have also had the privilege of caring for my mother during her journey with early-onset Alzheimer’s. That experience strengthened my patience, compassion, and ability to show up with steadiness during difficult seasons. Whether caring for children, seniors, or pets (I’ve never met one I didn’t connect with)! I bring warmth, reliability, and heartfelt attention to every family I work with. I would be honored to provide thoughtful, personal care whenever it’s needed.
“We feel incredibly grateful to have Evelyn in our lives. We first connected through our daughters, my 3yr old attends the Montessori school where Evelyn’s daughter is a teacher, and she is Maeve’s favorite! Seeing the love, presence, and care her daughter brought to everyone in the school made it easy for us to trust Evelyn from the beginning. I mean, she raised such a human! lol And…like mother, like daughter. Evelyn is kind, patient, communicative, dependable, and often available on short notice (which has helped us out tremendously!) She has been caring for Maeve on occasional nights and weekends for about a year now, and we truly love and trust her completely. We’ve only had positive experiences, and any family would be lucky to have her.”

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
