Howdy! My name is Luke, and I'm a sophomore Kinesiology major at Texas A&M University. After undergrad, I'm looking to go to occupational therapy school to become a certified occupational therapist, preferably in pediatrics. I'm dependable, patient, and fun-loving, and I like keeping kids active and engaged whether that's playing games, being outside, or helping with homework and routines. I'm also CPR/AED and First Aid certified, so safety is always a priority for me. What matters most to me in a job is a parent who has clear expectations for what they want. I'm not afraid of direct standards, and at the end of the day, I'm here for you, whatever that need may be!
Hi! I'm Allyson Jo, or more commonly known as Ally Jo and I have over 10 years of experience caring for children ranging from infants to teenagers. I am CPR and First Aid certified and passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. My childcare experience includes multiple long-term nanny positions. I cared for a family with a 5 year old boy and 2 year old boy while also helping care for their dog. I also spent two years nannying for a family with a 6 year old girl and a 6 month old boy, along with their cat. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and building strong relationships with both children and parents! In addition to my freelance nannying, I am a high school volleyball coach, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. I am also currently studying sociology in college, where I enjoy learning about human behavior, relationships, and community. I also have three wonderful nephews (ages 3, 5, and 7) who keep me active and remind me how important creativity, energy, and kindness are when caring for children. Outside of childcare, I co-own a small business with my sister creating personalized hand-painted banners. Running our business has allowed me to express my creativity and develop strong organizational and communication skills. I love incorporating creativity into activities with children, whether that means arts and crafts, imaginative play, or fun hands-on projects. I'm a huge animal lover and previously worked at a doggy daycare, and regularly pet sit; so I'm very comfortable caring for pets alongside children. Whether it's helping with organizing activities, preparing meals, playing outdoors, or caring for family pets, I'm happy to support your family's needs. I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and engaging, and I would love the opportunity to provide excellent care for your children and peace of mind for you.
Although I currently don't have professional caregiving experience, I am a friendly and patient college-educated individual who is certified in First Aid/CPR (adult & pediatric) and is in the process of becoming a certified clinical medical assistant. I look to enjoy supporting families by providing attentive, reliable care for children between 6 months - 12 years old. I'm happy to engage your children with board games, puzzles, and educational activities if needed. I like to meet children where they're at, so if your child favors a more energizing personality, then I can do that, or if they favor a more calm persona, then I can do that as well. I will follow your lead on household rules and communicate updates using your preferred method. I am very comfortable with pets if any are present; light housekeeping and light meal preparation is something I'm willing to help with too.
Hi! I’m Alessia, a second-year student at the University of Houston studying biochemistry on the pre-med track. As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve spent years helping care for children and understand the importance of patience, responsibility, and creating a positive environment. I also have 5 years of experience as a Sunday school teacher and 3 years of hospital volunteer experience in the ER, Medical-Surgical, and Pediatrics units. I enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun while staying safe. I’m dependable, attentive, and caring, and I can assist with homework, meal preparation, light housekeeping, bedtime routines, and engaging activities like games and crafts. Families can count on me to provide reliable, compassionate care and clear communication.
Hi! My name is Arial and I currently work from home part time which gives me plenty of availability to provide reliable and attentive childcare. I went to college for engineering and grew up playing the violin, soccer and cheer so I can help out and apply skills in different ways! I have hands-on experience caring for children of various ages. I have helped watch and raise my best friend’s two children since they were born; they are now 4 and 5 years old. Throughout college, I also cared for a 9-year-old, including picking her up from school, taking her to the park, preparing meals, and helping keep the home tidy. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them. I am responsible, patient, and attentive, and I’m comfortable helping with daily routines and light household tasks related to child care. I am comfortable working with families who have dogs (I have a small very kind and friendly dog myself).

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
