Hello Families!😊 My name is Mary. I love kids and especially babies. Ever since I was younger I would love to watch over kids, whether it was my baby cousins, my mom’s friends kids, or my very own baby brother. Babysitting, protecting, and just having fun with kids has always been the one thing I am always happy doing. No matter how shy, energetic, or playful a child can be they always put a smile on my face. I have always vowed to treat a child like how I’d want my own treated in the future. I’ve always been good at communicating with children and having patience and understanding. I love bringing kids out their shell and allowing them to feel like they’re in a safe, comfortable space to be themselves. every child is different and no matter the case they all deserve support and respect. Im also a very playful person, I genuinely enjoy having fun with kids! I love dancing or crafts or anything active. I have over 5 years of experience. My experience consists of working in a daycare as an assistant teacher for over a year. I was previously a caretaker for a five month old for about four months. I have babysat numerous kids for my neighbors and their friends ranging from the ages of 2-10. I have worked with kids with autism, and I was a care taker for a 28 year old with down syndrome about two years ago as well. I've also been helping take care of my 7 year old brother since he was born! I was trained CPR certified when I was 15 and still remember how to perform it although I am currently working to get my certification renewed. Im currently in school for maternal sonography as well. I am comfortable with all ages. Please contact me for any questions!
Hi! I’m gabi and I study architecture at the University of Houston! (Go coogs!!). I have been working at child care since I turned 18 as a way to pay for school. I love having an impact in young children and to teach them to be creative and have fun! I have worked in all classrooms from infants to school age and I have enjoyed getting to know so many families through out the years.
“Gabi was great, my son loved her, she communicated well and showed up on time, very reliable. My kids loved her. ”
Hi! My name is Sophie and I’m a senior in high school with a few years of babysitting experience, starting my freshman year caring for children of family friends and teachers. I’ve worked with a wide range of ages, from infants as young as 9 months old to teens up to 13, so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs, routines, and personalities. I’m very hands-on and love keeping kids engaged, active, and having fun!! Whether that’s playing outside, doing crafts, helping with homework, or coming up with creative activities. I always try to create a positive and safe environment where kids feel comfortable and excited to spend time together. I’m responsible, dependable, and patient, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their kids with someone they trust. I’m also good at balancing fun with structure, making sure routines, rules, and any instructions you leave are followed. Overall, I genuinely enjoy working with kids and building connections with them, and I always aim to make babysitting a fun and positive experience for everyone! Please reach out!
Hello! My name is Mahsa. When I was in highscool I was apart of my school's Education and Training Program! My freshman year I took Principles of Education and Training, my sophmore year I took Child Growth and Development, and my junior and senior year I was in the Intructional Practicum. In the practicum, I went to either Tom Wilson, Keiko Davidson, or Odessa Kilpatrick elementary and was a teacher's assistant! Ive taught Prek-5th grade, spedning 6-12 weeks with each class I was helping. I bonded with my students, their parents, and the lead teachers so much. I made lesson plans, organized the classroom, graded assigments, taught class lessons, worked in small groups, worked with students who were apart of the special education program and tutore students indivisually. I now have an Educational Aide I certificate from Texas Education Agency (TEA). I absolutley loved my time with the kids. It made me so happy to know I got to help them grow as people. I was able to build a lot of trust with my students and form a real bond between us. My best memories with them are playing tag with all the kiddos at recess, really getting the chnace to know them through one on one converstaion, and reading books to the class while making sillt voices for the chacters. Right now I'm studying for my Bachlors of Liberal Arts - Psychology, with a minor in Child Development and Family Studies. My biggest dream is to become a childrens therapist. I have a lot of passion for psychology and I LOVE spending time with kids so its the perfect fit for me. :) I have my own car, and am willing to do anything "extra" to accomidate for the needs of the child.
