Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a junior at William & Mary and am offering babysitting services for families with up to three children. As a caregiver, I prioritize safety, kindness, and mutual respect. I’ve been babysitting for nearly 5 years and am experienced with children ages 9 months and above. I’ve been employed by families with up to four children and with neurodiverse children. I’m looking for short-term work opportunities while back home in Northern Virginia. I’m available until late June, when I leave for a study abroad program in Europe. I’m happy to run errands, cook/prep meals, and do light housekeeping tasks. I have my own car and am CPR and first-aid certified. Most pets are ok (I love cats especially!) but please no high-energy big dogs!
Hi, my name is Jea! I’m a childcare provider based in Arlington, VA, currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have extensive experience working with children through teaching, camp counseling, and my current role as an RBT supporting children and young adults across a wide range of ages and needs. I provide childcare for infants through teens (0–17) and focus on creating a calm, structured, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged. I enjoy a mix of educational and fun activities such as reading, creative play, outdoor time, crafts, and helping with homework and daily routines. In addition to childcare, I’m comfortable with light household support related to childcare needs, such as meal/snack prep, tidying, and organization. I also have some experience with pet care, particularly dogs, and am comfortable assisting with basic care needs. I’m dependable, communicative, and flexible with scheduling, including daytime care, evenings, and occasional last-minute support when available. My goal is to provide families with consistent, high-quality care they can trust!
Hi! I’m Anna, a responsible, kind-hearted caregiver with a deep love for children, animals, and creating a nurturing, engaging environment. Originally from Ukraine, I moved to the U.S. in my early twenties and have over a decade of professional experience in finance. Recently, I decided to take a meaningful break to focus on personal growth—and return to my roots in caregiving. From a young age, I helped raise my younger cousins and babysat children of all ages, even while working as a lifeguard during the summers. I believe in creating a safe, loving space where children can feel heard, supported, and encouraged to grow. Whether it’s playing games, reading stories, helping with homework, or maintaining routines, I’m attentive to each child’s unique needs. I’m also a lifelong animal lover—I grew up with two Rottweilers who were like family—and currently care for a cat and a chinchilla of my own. Pets always warm up to me, and I’m happy to assist with their care too! I’m available to help with school pickups, light housekeeping, meal prep, and whatever else helps your day run smoothly. I’m calm, patient, trustworthy, and committed to being a reliable support for your family. Thank you for considering me—I’d love to learn more about your family and how I can help! Warmly, Anna
Hi - My name is Mariel. I have more than 4 years of experience taking care of little ones. I am offering child care and house services; organizing your closet or helping you clean your house. I enjoy being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, and toddlers since I was 8 years old because I used to take care of my young sister in Peru while my mother went to work. Obviously, I had the help of my older sister. I started working more seriously as a caregiver when I was 18, taking care of a newborn for two months, then I came to the USA as an au-pair, and took care of a toddler and a 4-year-old for two years. After that, I took care of a baby for a year and a half until he went to daycare. And my last job was with a baby; my contract was for 5 months, and it was a great time with them. I have great references from all my previous jobs. I am happy to work with families with dogs, but I will not take care of the dog unless I see a great need for the pup, and I will try my best to help if the dog is in need and you are not home. I will prefer a schedule from 9 AM to 4 PM, and weekends are off-limits since I have other commitments, and I prioritize time with my family.
Hello! My name is Megan and I’m currently on summer break as a special education teacher in FCPS. I have a degree in Child Development & Family Studies with a minor in Special Education. I have been working with children since 2019 and can’t imagine doing anything else! I have experience with children of all ages and all abilities. I love planning activities and differentiating them for different skill levels so that no one is left out. Oh, I love all animals from fluffy to scaly too, so pets are not a problem!

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
