Hi, I’m Sandra, About me: I’m originally from Colombia and an engineer by profession. Back home, I worked as a kindergarten teacher for one year. I moved to DC with a scholarship for an internship and decided to stay after completing it. During my 18-month internship, I also worked as an afternoon babysitter and built a wonderful relationship with the family—I’m still in touch with them. Since then, I’ve supported different families during summer and spring, and many continue to reach out for occasional babysitting. I love caring for children, bringing positive energy to play and learning, and adapting to new routines while also sharing what I’ve learned through my own experience. Experience: I have 5 years of experience with children, from newborns to 5-year-olds. I also helped care for my twin relatives until they were 2 years old, and I spent 3 months in Australia as a live-in nanny for a newborn and a toddler.
