Hello my name is winy and I’m from Colombia. I’m a English and Spanish teacher recently graduated and I’m currently living in Alexandria offering child care, pet care and household services. I have previous experience as baby sitter, since I was 15 years old I’ve been watching infants, toddlers and even teenager’s. I’d love children and enjoy having time for games, make different activities and having fun. I’m patient, responsable and creative person. In addition I have work before as a teacher back in my country with groups of different ages in classroom and outside environments. I graduated May 2023 with a B. S. in music studies and psychology with a concentration in children and families with the goal of becoming a music therapist and working with children and adolescents. I have a 7-year-old sister who is my absolute favorite person, I spent a lot of time caring for her at the beginning of COVID especially. I am very active and I love working with children and animals. I enjoy spending time outside and doing arts and crafts. I worked in a Mental Health Residential facility for one year caring for teenagers between the ages of 11-17. During this time I became First Aid/CPR certified, MAT certified, and trained in food safety. I briefly worked with children diagnosed with autism as a behavioral technician in 2024. I am currently working as a full time nanny for an 8 year old girl. I am very passionate about working with children and adolescents who have a variety of needs. I am also comfortable with pets, I grew up around dogs for most of my life and even pet sit sometimes now. I love cats and currently have two of my own.
