I've been the neighborhood babysitter and a part time nanny most of my life. I have the most experience with toddlers through age six, but I've also worked with infants and tween twins. I'm down to earth, have years of experience, and strongly believe that it's our job to raise the best, kindest, and well rounded humans that we can. I have been with my current Nanny Family since Jan 2020 and have picked up the rare date night for friends and family. Hello, I’m Rebekah 😊 I have almost 10 years of experience working with children in various settings. When I was in high school I taught dance to 3-10 year olds and had a consistent babysitting job. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have worked in several formal and informal educational settings (day camps/overnight camps/after school programs/childcare centers). A couple of years ago I moved to Seattle and am now working full time as an administrative assistant. I’m looking for an occasional - to part time babysitting position. Some of my favorite movements working with kids include making crafts, exploring nature, fun science experiments and playing card games. I am currently only certified for Adult CPR in addition to general first aid. I have received Infant child CPR certifications in the past. After graduating college I received my preliminary teaching license. However, at the time I went to work in outdoor education settings. Due to this, my teaching license expired around 3 years ago. Hi there! I am the mom of 2 high school kids. I have a Masters in Secondary Education, and during the school year, I run my own math tutoring business, from elementary to high school students. I have 8 years experience as an art and science teacher. I am working part-time as a nanny for infants and small children. I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers. I am an active and attentive caregiver: I sing to, read to, play with, teach, and comfort the infants/kids I nanny. I participated with my own kids in coop preschool.
