Hi! My name is Leahcim, and I’m a patient, kind, and bubbly babysitter who enjoys connecting with kids on their level. I bring a creative and thoughtful approach to childcare, always striving to make every moment fun, educational, and nurturing. Whether it’s reading stories, playing imaginative games, coloring, doing outdoor activities, or working through homework, I love helping children learn, grow, and express themselves. I have a strong foundation in child development and family studies through college coursework, which helps me better understand the emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of children at every age. I’ve cared for toddlers and kids ages 2 to 10 and have hands-on experience with diaper changes, bottle prep, feeding, teething, and more. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to assist with household tasks like meal prep, light cleaning, or pet care! I’m comfortable around animals and understand how to support a busy household. I also offer tutoring support and have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students with schoolwork. Families can count on me to be responsible, flexible, and communicative. I value building trust with both kids and parents and am committed to creating a safe, joyful, and supportive environment. Whether you need a fun playmate, a patient tutor, or an extra set of hands around the house, I’m here to help however I can!
I've been the neighborhood babysitter and a part time nanny most of my life. I have the most experience with toddlers through age six, but I've also worked with infants and tween twins. I'm down to earth, have years of experience, and strongly believe that it's our job to raise the best, kindest, and well rounded humans that we can. I have been with my current Nanny Family since Jan 2020 and have picked up the rare date night for friends and family. I am looking for more part time work starting in September, preferably 8-16 hours, 1-2 days a week. I have a car, am happy to do light housework, go on adventures with the kiddos, and help with homework after school. I'm energetic and outgoing, with a love of math, science, and the imagination. I am also enthusiastic about date night sitting, nanny fill ins, and more! I miss working with kids while mine are in school! I’m COVID vaxxed and conscious, I mask when I’m indoors in public spaces. If you are a COVID conscious family I’m happy to discuss my risk factors and test before caring for your kiddo(s).
“Kas is an amazing babysitter. My daughter is nonverbal autistic and has mild cerebral palsy. She is a very happy kid and Kas has always helped her to have fun and be engaged with the world around her and does not find her disabilities in anyway a detractor from my child having a wonderful experience, Kas is patient and kind and an absolutely wonderful human being. Kas is always prompt and reliable and does a good job of following schedules and any special things that are needed, Kas is always happy to help with. Whenever we can get her, Kas is our first choice for Sitter because of what a wonderful job she does with my three-year-old. If it were possible to recommend to Kas any higher, I would do so.”
Hello, I’m Rebekah 😊 I have almost 10 years of experience working with children in various settings. When I was in high school I taught dance to 3-10 year olds and had a consistent babysitting job. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have worked in several formal and informal educational settings (day camps/overnight camps/after school programs/childcare centers). A couple of years ago I moved to Seattle and am now working full time as an administrative assistant. I’m looking for an occasional - to part time babysitting position. Some of my favorite movements working with kids include making crafts, exploring nature, fun science experiments and playing card games. I am currently only certified for Adult CPR in addition to general first aid. I have received Infant child CPR certifications in the past. After graduating college I received my preliminary teaching license. However, at the time I went to work in outdoor education settings. Due to this, my teaching license expired around 3 years ago. I have experience working with kids in Montessori settings. Also, I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats. Percy and Hercules are my cats and I am the main sitter for my sister’s two dogs.
As the oldest daughter in a family of seven, caring for others has always been a big part of who I am. I helped raise my younger siblings, who are now between the ages of 11 and 14, which gave me years of hands-on childcare experience from a young age. I have also worked with children in a school in Alberta and currently work with Safe Space Childcare Services, where I care for children of all ages. These experiences have taught me how to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment while meeting each child’s individual needs. I am patient, nurturing, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with kids. Whether we’re playing games, helping with homework, reading stories, or enjoying creative activities, I always strive to make children feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. I also have a passion for cooking and enjoy preparing nutritious, homemade meals and snacks when needed. I look forward to supporting your family with dependable and compassionate care.
Hi there! I am the mom of 2 high school kids. I have a Masters in Secondary Education, and during the school year, I run my own math tutoring business, from elementary to high school students. I have 8 years experience as an art and science teacher. I am working part-time as a nanny for infants and small children. I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers. I am an active and attentive caregiver: I sing to, read to, play with, teach, and comfort the infants/kids I nanny. I participated with my own kids in coop preschool. I still incorporate what I learned in preschool into my tutoring and nanny work: encouraging positive behavior, calmly setting limits, asking children questions, and really listening to children. I enjoy being around kids. I am a swimmer, outdoor enthusiast (hiking, biking and bird watching), and enjoy spending time with my family outdoors.
“Greta was an absolute lifesaver for our family. After working with multiple sitters and nannies, I can confidently say she was by far the best. She consistently went above and beyond, especially in caring for our daughter, who has special requirements. Greta and our daughter quickly became best friends—she was always excited when Greta came by. Greta supported us tremendously as new parents, offering thoughtful tips and advice when asked, and truly became part of our family. Even during our daughter’s “stranger danger” phase, Greta was someone she trusted and adored when others couldn’t calm her. We will absolutely continue to use Greta in the future and highly recommend her.”

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
