I'm comfortable caring for 1-6 kids, cats (I have my own of 11.5 years :D),dogs, and reptiles (I have a big blue-tongued skink too!). My standard rate is 24-29$ depending on the group size however I’d love to offer a discounted rate of 22$ an hour flat for low income, LGBT, BIPOC & disabled families in need! I just moved to Seattle, WA from Oregon to be going to graduate school for social work this upcoming summer! I haved lived in Oregon all my life, and went to Oregon State University in Corvallis for about three years and graduated with a degree in Sociology with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences in 2024.I love working with children in all age groups, my former job was being an early childcare educator with the specialty in two year olds. My favorite part about working with children is being around lots of fun energy and smiles as well as seeing them grow as tiny humans! Hi - I’m Joey - I'm 61 and full of energy! I am offering child care and household services. Also- special event services/catering, party help. I'm semi-retired, after some amazing careers (from clothing design, baby boutique owner, event planning to catering)- and now I'm focusing on my art and working part time at a few of my interests. I spend a lot of time in nature walking and hiking with my dog Blue- rain or shine. (Also, spend a lot of time at Pickleball!) I love babies and kids- I'm a very patient, helpful, friendly person and love meeting new people. My adult daughters always tell me that I should be a caregiver/babysitter/nanny. I'm happy to help with homework, reading, doing crafts, going for walks etc. My baby/child care started very early- When I was 10 my mom had #5 and basically handed her over. We are very close now still. I can cook, clean, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. I have helped my 81 year mother quite a bit and am comfortable with senior care. Hello! I recently moved back to Washington after 13 years of living in Utah and am working as a paraeducator in the Renton School District. I graduated with a BS in health education and promotion from Utah State University in December and am CPR/First Aid Certified. I have experience working in childcare facilities with infants, toddlers, and preschool students as well as experience in an elementary school in Utah as an educational support professional. I am passionate about childhood and health education and love to explore different ways of staying active both indoors and out.
