I am a kind, loving, patient, and attentive caregiver with a genuine passion for play and connection. Over the past 20 years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, always adapting my approach to meet each child’s unique personality and developmental stage. My background includes meaningful experience working with children with special needs, where patience, empathy, and consistency have allowed me to build trust and support their individual growth. I also bring specialized experience teaching children to swim, combining safety-focused instruction with encouragement to help kids build confidence in the water while having fun. I believe that play is one of the most powerful tools for learning, bonding, and emotional development, and I strive to create a nurturing, engaging environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore. Whether it’s through games, creative activities, or one-on-one attention, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable care that families can trust. I’m comfortable and familiar around pets and I’m willing to do personal assistant tasks, such as grocery shopping, dishes, children’s cleanup, etc.
Hii, I’m Dayana! I’m a caring, responsible, and reliable person who loves spending time with kids. Im taking care of young children, 3 and 4 years old, and I really enjoy playing with them, doing fun activities, going outside, and keeping them happy. I speak Spanish, Ukrainian and English. I would also be very happy to work with families with dogs and cats! I’m available for occasional babysitting, date nights, and weekends.
I have been a nanny for infants and toddlers for the past 3 years. Before this time, I worked as teacher's aide, after-school program teacher and administrative assistant. I have an Early Childcare Certificate, a current First Aid/CPR Certificate for Infants - Adults, Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate, and Public Information degree. I care deeply about forming a strong bond with the children I care for and love introducing them to various experiences that build their awareness of themselves, others and the world around them. In addition, I believe in offering gentle guidance to children in a respectful, kind, instructive and even fun way. During my time with children, I do activities and engage with them in a way that sparks their curiosity, builds their knowledge and skills, follows their interests, helps them learn age-appropriate socio-emotional and communication skills. Based on several factors, I may use redirection, modeling what I want them to do or say, several reminders to reinforce behavior expectations such as washing hands after outside play and before meals, offering "first this, then that" or a choice of what to do first when both activities are required, advanced notice before transitioning to something else, and other age-appropriate caregiving practices. As a strong empath, I want to use my innate ability to connect with children (and all people) in a way that helps them feel understood, valued, worthy of kindness and attention, great for who they are JUST AS THEY ARE, and safe. I've found that I can't nurture children as deeply as I'd like and, in the case of very young children, to the degree I feel they need as they learn about themselves, others and their world.
Hi! I’m Charlotte — a bilingual (French/English), CPR-certified babysitter who’s dependable, warm, and great with kids of all ages. I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 and have experience with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I’ve supported families during everything from first-time date nights to last-minute schedule changes — always showing up with a calm, caring attitude. I also worked as an Educator in Coastal Ecology for 10 months, teaching children and adults ages 5–99! That role, plus my time as a camp counselor and family babysitter (cousins, nieces, nephews), has made me patient, adaptable, and great at connecting with kids quickly — even in new situations. Whether you need someone for a one-time evening, a weekend afternoon, or a backup sitter, I’m happy to step in and help. I make sure children feel safe and have fun, while keeping your home running smoothly. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include: - Outdoor exploration and nature walks - Arts and crafts - Storytime and reading - Homework help (especially science!) - Gentle playtime and games for babies & toddlers I’m also happy to help with: - Meal prep and feeding - Diaper changes and nap routines - Bath and bedtime - Light tidying up after play or dinner I’m certified in CPR/AED through the Red Cross, and parents often describe me as calm, responsible, and easy to trust — especially in short-notice or first-time situations. Bonus: I also have experience caring for seniors and helping around the house. From driving to appointments and prepping meals to offering companionship, I love making life a little easier for families. If you’re looking for someone who’s kind, reliable, and brings positive energy into your home — I’d love to connect 💛 Let me know how I can support your family!
Please call me Jodi. I love kids of all ages and believe they are unique and special, everyone with something to offer. I raised three kids myself and our house was the neighborhood hub. My three grandkids, who I'm very close to, are grown now. I manage an 80-unit apartment building in Shoreline and live onsite. I love music and reading, including kid stuff, all ages. I don't jump rope anymore, but I can do a mean cat's cradle and anyone who loves to color, I can sit with for hours. I'm all for trips to the park, beach, reading books (out loud or listening to someone practice), nature walks; I'll run into the kiddie pool for a rescue but not willing to swim with the kids. I'm into nutrition but am not militant about yours; willing to cook basic meals but not interested in being a master chef. I do a lot of driving and am ticket/accident-free. I don't mind pets (I have a 6-pound chihuahua mix, Penny Lane, who will be 7 years old in Dec 2026). Light chores like laundry, dishes etc, but kids are my priority. I look after your kids when you're not there; I don't babysit for WFH parents or someone who wants to watch a movie in the next room. Until recently I looked after an 12-year-old girl who is on the spectrum, and I also cared for her older brother for several years (he is now 15 and pretty independent). I've looked after the girl since she was 4 years old. The care included school pick-ups, taking her to therapy and various afterschool classes and on Wednesdays she would spend the afternoon from 1 - 5 with me, usually at my home. She has, sadly, aged out, and will be taking the bus going forward. I will still be seeing these children for "date nights" and the mother is very happy to chat with anyone interested in hiring me. She has already given me a review on UrbanSitter. I am looking for a job that would primarily be after-school pick up, any day of the week. I know there is a call for this and people like me (with excellent references and 100% clean driving record, willing to do partial days, are not easy to find.) I'd love to meet your kiddo/s. Thank you for your time and consideration. Margo (Jodi) Dills
“Over five years ago, I found Jodi (Margo) on Urbansitter. After interviewing her I knew she was a kindred spirit. She has worked steadily for our family helping us with after school care, pick up, and date nights. The kids truly love her and she is the most reliable caregiver I have ever known.”

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
