Unavailable from 7/14-8/29 Hello! After graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a minor in psychology, I was offered the opportunity to substitute teach for the school district. For six years I was lucky enough to be a substitute teacher for ages K-12. My passion for child development and psychology makes me eager to provide children with an environment conducive to being a healthy and happy child, while catering to each child's uniqueness and supporting their greatest endeavors. Because of my wide range of substituting, I have experience with behavioral differences, children of all levels of skillset, mindset, backgrounds, and ages. Much of my time was spent at the Montessori school working with gifted students and the other bit of my time was at the behavioral academy for children who benefitted from a bit more TLC, in between these extremes I was regularly subbing in traditional classrooms. Due to the pandemic, and the closure of schools, I began working in research and development at a lab in Washington and I have since dabbled in healthcare as a CNA, doing so was rewarding and helped solidify my passion for caring for others and taught me a great deal about caring for seniors as well. My current career goals are centered to be in healthcare within the next year. In my free time you can find me in the sunshine, chasing my crazy beagle, paddle boarding, and experimenting in the kitchen.

I am originally from Tennessee. I am the a proud mom of a 9 year old daughter, a 24 year old daughter and a 30 year old son! I have spent the majority of my life caring for and raising up children. I have nannied consistently for one family for the last 9 years, ranging over the years from full time to part time. When I started there was only one child and now there are 3! I am a lover of humans, tiny humans, animals, nature, gardening, and books. I use a peaceful, loving approach to childcare and love to just be silly! I would love to hang out with your little ones...i enjoy snuggling, hugs, reading, make-believe, language development, arts & crafts and music & dance. I am also willing and available to negotiate rates for help with any aspect of home management: be it cooking, caring for pets, cleaning, laundry or organizing! I am also open and accepting of blended families ♡ I owned a cleaning business for 10 years in Nashville, before moving to Washington. Finding the right fit and building authentic relationships are my utmost priority. I'm available for a part time schedule and can be super flexible. I am a semi-retired licensed Registered Nurse with five grown children and four grandchildren. I have worked as a nanny full time, part time, and night nurse. I have done occasional work for families for nights out, special events, and sick children who cannot attend regular childcare. I have also covered babysitting services for a conference in the past. My experience includes all ages, multiple children, diabetics, and neurodivergent children. I’ve been babysitting since I was a teenager. I love children and animals and I spend my childcare time reading, playing, dancing, exercising, walking, and doing crafts. Our days are very busy and interactive. I try to make basic daily tasks fun to keep the children engaged and willing to do things like hand washing and clean up. I am patient, kind, and loving. I have my own vehicle and a clean driving record if transportation should be necessary. Pets are not a problem. I will happily feed, water, walk, brush, play with and/or check-in on your animals. I am fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID (and a bunch of other stuff). I am clean and keep hand sanitizer with me. I am also certified in Basic, Advanced, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. I am open to light housekeeping duties, and I don't mind meal prep or cooking. Most people enjoy my cooking and I am health conscious and creative, but certainly respect that some children may have limited food preferences and/or allergies and I am willing to work within those limitations. I strive to provide a positive experience that is fun, safe, and comfortable, and allows you to feel secure in your choice, knowing your precious child or children are in good hands.

Mom of four boys, ages infant to 14. Looking for some babies and kiddos to watch during school/work hours. Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm in my home. I’ll be home with my 6 month old all day, my kiddos will be home at 3pm. Will provide breakfast and lunch. Can discuss a daily rate for regular parents!!
