Combined, I have now over 15 years of experience working with families. In fact, there has not really been a time where I have ever stopped working with families! I have professionally managed events, conferences, and weddings for a good chunk of my career before transitioning to academic research and law. Outside of this platform, I work privately in law, with content management, and coach public speaking. I took a break from UrbanSitter for several years for grad schools. Now, I mostly use UrbanSitter to help with occasional date night, wedding, and events request. Would love to work with you and your family!

My mother owns a daycare center, where I have spent years helping and building strong skills in childcare, from infants to school aged kids. These experiences have given me a deep passion for creating safe, loving, and engaging environments for children to learn and grow. I am a caring, energetic, and patient person who loves being active and creative with kids whether that means playing games, helping with schoolwork, or encouraging them through arts, crafts, and outdoor activities. I take pride in nurturing children while also supporting their development and independence. In addition to childcare, I am comfortable with light housework, organizing, and running errands. I am also trained in CPR and first aid, ensuring I can respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Hello! I’m Ta’Ja (Tay-Juh) I am currently working a full time job during the week (Mon-Fri) but I become available after 7pm to do evening care to 11pm! Weekends are more flexible for me! I am currently offering child care and pet care! I love working with kids/youth! I’ve been volunteering and working with kids/youth since my sophomore yeah in high school! From being an assistant soccer coach for 1st -5th graders, volunteering at my mom’s home daycare, helping out with afterschool programs through my middle school (event help,plays, ect), working with kiddos in retail, and now working with youth in a before and afterschool setting for now 2 years! My responsibilities have included helping with various arts and crafts, school/homework help, make/prepare small snacks, and other fun activities. I can do light household services! (Can be discussed in advance) I currently do not drive but I know my way around the city and bus routes! Pet Care: I am not very fond of cats. But I am happy to work with families with dogs big or small.

Hi! I’m Leila, a student at the University of Washington with several years of experience working with children. In high school, I completed a 3-year childcare career pathway program where I worked closely with kids of different ages through activities, learning, and care. I also have hands-on experience caring for my two infant nieces and younger cousins, so I’m very comfortable with routines, playtime, meals, and helping children feel safe and supported. I’m responsible, patient, energetic, and love keeping kids engaged with fun activities like crafts, games, reading, and outdoor play. Families can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and create a positive environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I have two ragdoll cats of my own, and I am very comfortable around pets!
