My background is in nursing. This included care of the elderly within a hospital and nursing home environment. I was also a volunteer dining room server at a local senior center. As an animal caregiver it has been my passion since the passing of one of my pets. Shelter volunteering was a way to give back to the community and gain valued experiences with animals. Working as a volunteer at a shelter clinic inspired my enthusiasm for learning different aspects of pre and post op care. My duties were to record vital signs, administer subcutaneous fluids, and medications, in addition to monitoring animals until conscious. Presently, I foster kittens and cats for a local shelter, preparing them for adoption. Many are medically / socially challenged.

I am freshly graduated and great with kids! During my time in high school I would lead cheer camps for little kids grades k-6 where I would spend time playing games, teaching skills, and giving snacks to the children. I also was a camp counselor at a vacation bible school where I would take care of many kids.

Mom for 21 years, 2 girls, very active, preschool teacher at Dance Center preschool age 3-5, Paraeducator for Spokane Public Schools 3 years, supports staff at SPS for over 10 years, previous fitness instructor, I have 4 cats and a dog and a lizard, love the outdoors, very crafty(art, crochet, painting, various crafts). CPR certified, prior EMT training, background check cleared thru Spokane Public Schools. I love to read and craft, I’m active in many sports(Zumba, hockey, skating, cross training).
