I am married, a mother of four. A God fearing woman who is friendly and loves children, pets and seniors. I have a deep understanding and patience rooted in my values. I am currently working as Pre-k Teachers Assistant (4 years plus) in Shoreline School and as of now working in summer camp ages 3-12 years old. I preferred working close by my neighbor in Shoreline. I don't drive but can do public transportation or my husband can drive me to and from work.
Hi families! My name is Remi, and I am an enthusiastic childcare professional with over five years of experience. I am currently a student at the University of Washington and work as both a substitute teacher and nanny. I began my journey in childcare at a center where I worked with all age groups, from infants to school-age children. I later became a lead teacher of a toddler classroom and transitioned to leading a preschool classroom at another center. I hold an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education as well as the following certifications: Certificate in State Early Childhood Education and Certificate of Specialization in State Short Early Childhood Education - General. Other relevant certifications include First Aid, Pediatric and Adult CPR US, and Food Handler Permit. I am deeply passionate about fostering diversity and creating inclusive, mindful environments for children. I strive to promote culturally sensitive practices and take the time to learn about the families I work with to better meet their needs. Working with children has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love being part of their growth and development, and I look forward to the opportunity to support your family!
“I highly recommend Remi! She has been an incredible support to our family, especially during the early days when my baby was a newborn. Whether it was during the day or late at night, Remi was always there, providing the care and help I needed. Her experience and confidence in handling babies are truly remarkable. She knows exactly how to calm, comfort, and care for little ones, even in the most challenging moments. Her calm demeanor and nurturing personality made a world of difference for me as a new parent. Remi is dependable, attentive, and always follows instructions carefully. She also offered helpful advice based on her experience, which was reassuring. Knowing that my baby was in such capable and loving hands allowed me to rest and focus when I needed to. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and experienced, Remi is the perfect choice. I would not hesitate to hire her again—she’s truly exceptional!”
Hi families! My name is Andrea Bonilla, but everyone calls me Andy. I’m originally from Colombia and I’m 28 years old. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colombia and I’m currently continuing my studies in Psychology at Seattle Central College. I have over 4 years of experience caring for children between 0 and 13 years old. I’m an active, patient, creative, and cheerful person who truly enjoys spending time with kids. I love singing, playing, and creating fun and educational activities. I also have experience caring for children with special needs, including feeding through a G-tube. My background in psychology has helped me better understand children’s emotional and developmental needs, and I always strive to create a safe, nurturing, and happy environment for them. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and bring joy to your little ones!
Hello, I’m Salina , and I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with families seeking a caring, dependable, and attentive caregiver. As a psychology graduate currently working as a Case Manager in Children’s Crisis Outreach, I support children and families through challenging moments with patience, empathy, and structure—skills that deeply inform how I show up in caregiving roles. My professional background has strengthened my understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and the importance of creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and understood. Alongside my formal training, I’ve built years of hands-on experience caring for children in various settings, allowing me to adapt to different ages, personalities, and family dynamics with ease. What continues to motivate me is the privilege of helping children feel secure while encouraging curiosity, growth, and confidence. I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and age-appropriate engagement, and I’m intentional about creating calm, enriching spaces—whether through creative activities, routine-building, or simply being a steady presence. I would love the opportunity to support your family and contribute positively to your child’s well-being. I’m happy to connect via FaceTime or meet for coffee to discuss your family’s needs and how my experience may be a good fit. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to learning more about your family and exploring how I can best support you. Warmly, Salina
I have been a classroom teacher for eighteen years and I absolutely love my job. Recently, I have stepped away to find more flexibility and time to care for my 10 year old and work on art projects. Most of my experience has been working with communities and schools that serve a high proportion of students learning English as a second language and high rates of free or reduced lunch. Meeting the diverse needs of students has been a joy and a welcomed challenge. Their curiosity is inspiring and I feel incredibly fortunate to guide and teach these children. I believe strongly in integrating subject matter wherever possible and working closely with colleagues to provide the best possible education for each student. As my career has progressed, I have started exploring alternative ways of educating including Land Based Education, student led, subject integrated projects and social/emotional regulation skills based on art, music, and nature therapy. I am seeking a part time position to spend more time with my son and work on developing a science program centered on the Pacific Northwest. My education includes a Masters in Teaching from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts in Zoology from Miami University and a NBC for Middle Childhood Generalist (recently renewed until 2030). I love the outdoors and play based eduction. I have many pets including chickens, cats, a bearded dragon, a dog and two guinea pigs. I love working on projects with kids especially science and art. Thank you for taking the time to read this! I hope to meet you soon!
