Why should a family choose me as a nanny? I am Yisel from Colombia, responsible, honest, fun, open-minded, patient, loving, dedicated, happy and pet friendly person. I love spending time with children, helping them to grow up happy, sharing my culture with them, teaching them my mother tongue and learning new things. I am a language teacher in my country, I speak Spanish, English and French, I worked as a teacher in a daycare for two years and I have experience as a nanny for more than 6 years and 3 years of nanny sharing with the same families, I love helping my children reach their creative potential and develop a harmonic cognitive process. I believe that a variety of activities are essential for the development of children. Also, the closeness to nature and engagement in building things with their own hands will stimulate their eagerness to explore and experiment. I like the key "learning by playing" because it corresponds to reality and what I like doing with children. And you can be sure that your children will have rewarding experiences with me. It would be great to become your friend, contact person, and role model for your children. I love children and care about them, so their well-being and safety are most important to me. What activities would you like to do with your host children? Depending on the ages and the climate, I would do the following activities with the children: • 0 - 6 months: Early stimulation activities with water, sand, tempera and clay. Roll balls with sound, encourage crawling, rhythm with toys, feeding support and nursery rhymes. • 1 - 2 years: Activities that help them develop their early stimulation. Play with water balloons, threading games, fishing afternoon, sandbox, games with music, games with tempera paint and rope toys. • 2 - 5 years: Dance activities to the rhythm of music, building blocks, drawing pictures with different paintings, going up and down steps, drawing, painting silhouettes, taking them to the park, teaching them my mother tongue and helping them are their language.
“Yiyi worked as a part-time nanny for our son when he was 1 to 2 years old until we moved away to California. She is so kind, attentive, easy to work with and be around and helpful. She took our son out on adventures, did art projects with him ( she is a talented artist), read, sang, danced and actively engaged him. She is easy to communicate with, responsive and very reliable. I love that she speaks Spanish and English and exposed our son to Spanish. I don't think she was sick 1 day that she worked with us. She goes above and beyond, when I asked if she would be willing to come over when my husband had to be on a work trip while I was pregnant with our second child and had the flu, she said yes. I am forever thankful for her care during those very hard days. She became a part of our family and we still stay in touch. I highly recommend Yiyi!”
Worked in a daycare 2 separate times. With school age, infants and toddlers. Have raised 2 children on my own. I also have had multiple pets growing up and current.
I have three children of my own but they are older now. 😉I am an elementary teacher and enjoy being with kids. It would be great to enjoy littles outside of the school setting. I can be structured but also fun. I know how difficult it is to be a parent and I’d love to help you out with being with your littles. I enjoy being outdoors.
I work for the School District so child safety is very important to me. I have a strong foundation for understanding child development across all age groups, from infant, toddlers to teenagers and years of experience with special needs. I am First Aid and CPR Trained. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and happy to help with feeding, laundry and light housekeeping. I am patient, calm, friendly, and always follow parents' lead when enforcing rules. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, according to your preference. I look forward to bringing my experience and passion to your family.
Hi! My name is Gabriela, I’m 26 years old and I love working with children. I’ve worked as an Au Pair, nanny, and daycare assistant. I speak English, Portuguese, and a little Spanish. I enjoy outdoor activities, gardening, cooking, board games, I have experience with bedtime routines, cooking, and basic culinary courses. I also love pets and creating fun, caring, and engaging experiences for children. Since arriving in the United States, I have experience caring for twins who were three years old, then a 10-month-old baby whom I cared for for a year, and two children aged 6 and 9. I had wonderful experiences with all of them, and both families I worked for are available to provide reference calls if neede
“Gabriela was lovely. She is personable and reliable. Our kiddo had a great time with her, and she was well taken care of. Will book her again!”

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
