Growing up as the oldest of four children, I have had extensive experience with children. I am also an owner to both a cat and dog and am able to care for animals.
Hi! My name is Amelia, and I’m a graduate student at the University of Washington who loves working with kids and helping families. With years of experience, I know how to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children of all ages. In addition to childcare and tutoring, I can assist with household chores, cooking, organizing, even pet sitting. I’m happy to help make your home life a little easier while ensuring your children are engaged, happy, and well cared for. In my free time, I love doing pottery, hanging with my two cats, and enjoying the beauty of Seattle. If you’re looking for a versatile, dependable sitter who can support your family in multiple ways, let’s chat! I’d love to learn how I can best meet your needs.
Hi I’m Elsa, and I’m Hispanic with a lifelong love for caring for children. Since my early teens, I’ve helped my grandmother care for many little ones—family, friends, and neighbors—gaining experience with diaper changes, feedings, and playtime. I recently had the joy of babysitting a 2-year-old boy while his mom worked from home. My responsibilities included diaper changes, preparing simple meals, light housekeeping, and playtime. I became very close to him, watching him grow from crawling to walking independently after physical therapy—it was truly a special experience. We’d go outside on sunny days with his little car, play with his blue ball and blocks, and wind down together with his favorite shows before naps. I also accompanied his mom on several doctor’s visits, helping out wherever I could. I’ve also cared for a 1-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy. We’d often take walks to the nearby park where the older boy loved playing hide-and-seek. I bottle-fed the baby girl, rocked her to sleep, and made sure both children felt safe and cared for while her mom did her long nurse shifts. In addition to babysitting, I help my mom raise my energetic 1.5-year-old baby brother. He’s always on the move, loves to climb, dance to music, and pull me by the hand to play with his cars. Taking care of him has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to manage the unexpected—which, with toddlers, happens often! I genuinely love being around children and form strong bonds with every child I care for. I’m confident in my ability to keep your little ones safe, entertained, and nurtured. Thank you for considering me! We can negotiate hourly rate :)
Hi! I'm Kimberly and currently live in Seattle. I have worked with kids for over 17 years and absolutely love it. I have been a babysitter, nanny, lead summer camp teacher, and a household manager. I have experience with all ages and am extremely reliable. I’m happy to also help with household tasks.
Hi! I’m Charlotte — a bilingual (French/English), CPR-certified babysitter who’s dependable, warm, and great with kids of all ages. I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 and have experience with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I’ve supported families during everything from first-time date nights to last-minute schedule changes — always showing up with a calm, caring attitude. I also worked as an Educator in Coastal Ecology for 10 months, teaching children and adults ages 5–99! That role, plus my time as a camp counselor and family babysitter (cousins, nieces, nephews), has made me patient, adaptable, and great at connecting with kids quickly — even in new situations. Whether you need someone for a one-time evening, a weekend afternoon, or a backup sitter, I’m happy to step in and help. I make sure children feel safe and have fun, while keeping your home running smoothly. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include: - Outdoor exploration and nature walks - Arts and crafts - Storytime and reading - Homework help (especially science!) - Gentle playtime and games for babies & toddlers I’m also happy to help with: - Meal prep and feeding - Diaper changes and nap routines - Bath and bedtime - Light tidying up after play or dinner I’m certified in CPR/AED through the Red Cross, and parents often describe me as calm, responsible, and easy to trust — especially in short-notice or first-time situations. Bonus: I also have experience caring for seniors and helping around the house. From driving to appointments and prepping meals to offering companionship, I love making life a little easier for families. If you’re looking for someone who’s kind, reliable, and brings positive energy into your home — I’d love to connect 💛 Let me know how I can support your family!

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
