Andrea Seattle
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi families! My name is Andrea Bonilla, but everyone calls me Andy. I’m originally from Colombia and I’m 28 years old. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colombia and I’m currently continuing my studies in Psychology at Seattle Central College. I have over 4 years of experience caring for children between 0 and 13 years old. I’m an active, patient, creative, and cheerful person who truly enjoys spending time with kids. I love singing, playing, and creating fun and educational activities. I also have experience caring for children with special needs, including feeding through a G-tube. My background in psychology has helped me better understand children’s emotional and developmental needs, and I always strive to create a safe, nurturing, and happy environment for them. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and bring joy to your little ones!

Margaret Seattle
$50 per hour for 1 child

Hi all! My name is Margaret (she/they) and I am, by day, a private practice somatic therapist. I received a BS in Psychology and Family Science and minor in Women's Studies. I received my masters in Social Work from UW. I love working with adults & being in the body, but deeply miss the childcare that I was doing before my career. I have around ~15 years of babysitting experience with kids ranged from 9 months - 14 years old. I love the energy kids have and so appreciate their awe and excitement about the world. I value encouragement, curiosity, creativity, communication, autonomy, and mindfulness in my interactions with kids! I strive to be a thoughtful and caring companion and role model, not a detached authoritative figure. I value boundaries and helping kids learn how to hear and say no, along with trusting their own boundaries and choices. Ultimately, I enjoy being in the fluidity of being with kids - I love making art, singing, dancing, being silly with kids; doing the mundane things such as helping structure chores; engaging in emotionally challenging situations and helping build self-assuredness in feeling through emotions. I highly value relational building with kids and their families and appreciate transparent communication, collaboration, trust, accountability, and overall co-creating safety for your child/ren. I would love to chat more with you and your family to see if this would be a good fit for you all.
