Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

Hi there! I am the mom of 2 high school kids. I have a Masters in Secondary Education, and during the school year, I run my own math tutoring business, from elementary to high school students. I have 8 years experience as an art and science teacher. I am working part-time as a nanny for infants and small children. I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers. I am an active and attentive caregiver: I sing to, read to, play with, teach, and comfort the infants/kids I nanny. I participated with my own kids in coop preschool. I still incorporate what I learned in preschool into my tutoring and nanny work: encouraging positive behavior, calmly setting limits, asking children questions, and really listening to children. I enjoy being around kids. I am a swimmer, outdoor enthusiast (hiking, biking and bird watching), and enjoy spending time with my family outdoors.

Greta was an absolute lifesaver for our family. After working with multiple sitters and nannies, I can confidently say she was by far the best. She consistently went above and beyond, especially in caring for our daughter, who has special requirements. Greta and our daughter quickly became best friends—she was always excited when Greta came by. Greta supported us tremendously as new parents, offering thoughtful tips and advice when asked, and truly became part of our family. Even during our daughter’s “stranger danger” phase, Greta was someone she trusted and adored when others couldn’t calm her. We will absolutely continue to use Greta in the future and highly recommend her.
