Hi, my name is Sara. I’m a mom to 2 great kids ages 11 and 9. I am offering childcare, senior care, pet sitting/care, and household services. I have a lot of kid experience, from raising my own, to volunteering at the elementary school, to watching my friend’s kids. I also used to work at an elementary school and with kids in a living history experience. I have been caring for pets through another app for 11 years and have worked as a veterinary technician. I am confident with all animals. I have cooked professionally since 2002 and can accommodate various dietary restrictions. I love kids and animals. With my own kids I try to keep them busy outside or with crafts, and off of screens as much as possible.

For the summer, I am an empty nester as my 4 own children are at Grandparents in Alaska. I have a degree in Elementary Education and Educational services. I like to get outdoors and explore the parks and beaches Tacoma has to offer, as well work on art projects. I have worked in all age classrooms and youth of all ages. Being a mom of four means being on your toes, and knowing each child is different. I have current CPR and first aid credentials and used to working with youth. I have been a girl scout leader the past 9 years and I love dogs.

I'm a single woman from Chicago who lived overseas in Europe for years and worked as a live-out full-time nanny for 4 years as well as many years of babysitting toddlers and school age children. I speak English and French, but have a basic understanding of Spanish, German , Dutch, Mandarin and Russian. School runs, outside activity/class runs, in-home activities, meals and light errands are all ok! I have a background in both dance and studio art (as well as a psychology degree), so creative fun is an easy ask.
