Hi - My name is Christina, I’m 30 years old and I'm currently in school to get a degree in Public Health. Once I complete my degree, I would love to have the title, “child and maternal health advocate”! I started working in child care 10 years ago as a lead teacher in a toddler classroom at a daycare. After a few years there, I moved on to becoming a nanny. I’ve been a nanny to two amazing families since 2016. Im thankful to have held long term positions. While my work week is filled with my current position, I do enjoy babysitting on the side. Im open to one time and occasional babysitting depending on the families needs. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids (including twins!) since was 18 years old. My responsibilities as a babysitter have included bed time routines, prepping meals, cleaning up as well as entertaining the children. Naturally, I have a calm demeanor and a nurturing personality. I believe it goes hand in hand while being a caretaker. Although I am unavailable for for a full/part time position, I am open for date nights and such! Please feel free to contact I me. I can also provide my resume. *updated Aug. 2023
“We hired Christina to take care of our 3 year old daughter for the afternoon/evening. She did a wonderful job with Eliana in engaging her, taking her to play at the park, and making sure she got all the steps to her bedtime routine done--always a challenge. She quickly noticed and cleaned up when our daughter almost started painting the wall while I was showing Christina around right after she arrived. She also cleaned up after our daughter had a potty accident. Christina was very professional, arrived early, and has a very calm, patient, and thoughtful demeanor. We highly recommend her to other families, and hope to have the opportunity to hire her again.”
Hi! I’m Xia — a loving and responsible caregiver with experience caring for my own sons and a one-year-old child. I used to be a teacher in my country and I’m currently studying Early Childhood Education. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified. Bilingual in English and Chinese – happy to help children learn new languages. I enjoy reading, singing, and helping kids learn through play. Families describe me as patient, caring, and reliable. I’d love to support your family and create a safe, happy environment for your little ones!
“She’s helpful to take of our 3 month baby girl”
Hey everyone! I’m a mom who genuinely loves helping families however I can. I’m also a certified pediatric sleep consultant — so if your little one is struggling with sleep, feel free to ask! I also run a local Facebook group (Seattle Play Dates for ALL) that brings together parents and kids of all ages for connection and community. I’m a mom to a 4-year-old daughter who adores playing with other kiddos, and a 6-year-old autistic son who thrives with parallel play. Unless specifically requested, my little ones stay home with dad when I’m caring for your children. 😉 I’ve been babysitting or helping raise kids since I was 11 years old — having 60+ cousins meant there was always a little one who needed care! Now as a mother myself, my love for children has only grown deeper. I’m a former lifeguard (4 years) and CPR-certified. I’m playful, musical, silly when needed, and great at helping kids feel comfortable and engaged. I’m especially skilled at redirecting, calming, and supporting children who experience separation anxiety. I also have extensive experience with neurodiverse kiddos, including children with sensory processing disorder, PDA (pathological demand avoidance), OCD, ADHD, and other unique neuroprofiles. Supporting special needs toddlers is a huge soft spot of mine, and I absolutely love infants — I miss those newborn snuggles! My caregiving style is play-based, low-demand, and child-led. I believe parents know their children best, and I always respect and accommodate your parenting style and preferences (as long as they align with my own moral and safety standards). I’m a great cook, a fun companion, and I come with a full range of animated voices for bedtime stories. And no infant’s bedtime routine is complete without my famous “bébé massage” to help them drift off to sleep! I believe my pricing is fair, but I also deeply understand how hard and expensive childcare can be. If finances are a concern, please reach out — I’m always open to finding a solution that works for your family. ❤️
Hello :) I am a mother of two teenage daughters. I have a degree in Elementary Education and over 10 years experience as both a Preschool Teacher and Nanny/Caregiver. I have worked with children of all ages and am passionate about fostering each child’s interests and development through thoughtful and loving care. I also enjoy supporting families with additional needs so am happy to help with pets, light housekeeping, organization, errands, etc. In addition, I am currently a Care Driver for HopSkipDrive (a ride-share service for school children) so am qualified and comfortable with driving your children to/from activities. I am patient, kind, respectful, reliable and fun! I consider it a privilege to be welcomed into your family and look forward to meeting you all!
“Our toddler warmed up to Holly faster than I expected and was excited to play and read with her the entire time. Holly also had excellent communication about the booking and was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!”
Hello everyone! My name is Sarra, and I live in Greenwood, Seattle. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Public Health Global Health from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!). I’ve been working as a full-time community navigator. A significant part of my job involves interacting with families and kids to create fun activities and events. I am wanting to work as a babysitter a few times a week with families who need help after school, weekends or date night! I’m musically inclined and believe that music has the power to heal any wound. I’ve always loved children and was the most trusted family member to watch over my little cousins. I have experience working with toddlers, young children, and teenagers aged 3 to 17. I’ve also worked with children on the spectrum. In my experience, I engage children in activities they enjoy the most and provide them with ideas to explore. I go out of my way to find the best activities to keep them occupied, such as learning a new language (I’m multilingual and speak French and Arabic), writing, drawing, or painting. The activities can vary depending on the child’s interests and passions. Some children love reading sessions, while others prefer singing, coloring, and drawing with music on, or simply playing board games like puzzles and interactive Lego construction games! Exploring the outdoors is also a fun activity to do if interested! I can help with homework and tutoring in various subjects, including English, Math, STEM subjects, and many others. I’m also a great cook and make all sorts of sandwiches, meals, and quick snacks that your children will love! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send me a message. I’d be more than happy to answer them for you.
