I have been passionate about working with children since I was 16 when I began babysitting for family and friends. This early experience sparked a lifelong interest in child development, leading me to earn a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona in 2023. Throughout my education, I interned at the Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center, where I had the opportunity to support underprivileged children ranging from toddlers to adolescents. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of play, emotional support, and structure for their growth and well-being. Post-graduation, I continue to work with children at daycares and as a nanny and babysitter for multiple families across Arizona and I have so much fun every day :) I always find joy when I’m with children and I look forward to meeting you and your little one(s) !
Hi – my name is Raquel! I’m currently studying to become a bookkeeper and in the meantime I’m offering child care, pet care, and household services. I’m a Christian homeschool mom of three wonderful girls (11, 8, and 3), and I truly enjoy being around children. With over 11 years of hands-on experience as a stay-at-home mom, I’m very familiar with the ins and outs of caring for kids, managing a household, and looking after pets.
