I have worked part-time at 1 day care and 2 private preschools in San Luis Obispo as a teacher, with children ages where I worked with 4 months-4-years-old. Eventually, I left my corporate sales job in 2019 and put my passion for early childhood education and my degree in Communication Studies to use and began offering private nanny care and parent consulting services. I am comfortable using sign language with anyone who is already signing to communicate or teaching what I know to kids or families to help them communicate better. A typical day under my care involves morning greeting/connection routine, playtime and snack, reading and art, nap, lunchtime and adventure or park play, etc. (flexible but just an idea). I enjoy taking the little’s I’m caring for to library story times, different kid friendly adventures around town, and providing age appropriate experiences for their social, emotional, and physical development. I’m comfortable with bottle feeding, baby wearing, cloth diapering, snuggling to sleep, baby led weaning and adapting to any special care needs your family might need. I baby set children when I was a teen. I am a mother of a 23 and a 16 year old. I have volunteered in their classrooms throughout elementary school. I also have volunteered at the AWANA boys and girls clubs in Atascadero and Los Osos for children ages from 3 to 11 years of age for approximately 12 years.

Hello! I have been babysitting, house-sitting, and pet-sitting consistently since I was around thirteen. I currently own a horse, a dog, and a cat.
