I grew up playing basketball, soccer, flag football, and ran track . I’m very active and like to reflect that in my care. I’m great with kids and make every experience a learning opportunity. Hello, It is very nice to find you here. I began my childcare, elder care, and pet care services as a teenager, and I am now in my mid 50s. I love caring for others and making them feel supported. I have worked with children from infants through high school. As a teen, I was the neighborhood babysitter :-). After I finished college, I became a substitute teacher for grades K-12 and subsequently an elementary school teacher of 2nd grade. Kids are great little people! During my high school years, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. Currently I am able to go to the pet's home to make sure they are taken for walks and fed along with other needs. Dogs, cats, pet rabbits, and other furry creatures are little bundles of love. :-) My elder care experience began with my grandmother who developed Alzheimer's nearly 10 years ago. I took care of her daily living needs, cooking, errands, and social events. I have since had a number of elder care clients who need support in their living space. I have 3 years of babysitting experience and have always loved creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for kids. Most recently, I've worked at The Little Gym for over a year and a half, where I've helped children ages 1-12 build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun through movement and play. In high school, I also spent 2 years in Crossage P.E., where I traveled to a local elementary school to teach P.E. to 1st and 2nd graders. As a first-year college student, I bring a lot of energy, patience, and responsibility to care giving. I'm very protective, dependable, and genuinely enjoy connecting with children of all ages. Whether it's helping with homework, playing games, keeping routines on track, or simply being a positive role model, I love being someone kids feel safe and excited to be around. In addition to childcare, I'm also very comfortable caring for animals. I've grown up around fish, large and small dogs, cats, reptiles, and even insects, so I'm confident working with a wide variety of pets. During my previous babysitting jobs, I regularly helped with household chores and cleaning, and I also prepared meals for the families I worked with. I'm always willing to help around the house however I can. I also have my own car and a valid driver's license, which allows me to commute reliably and provide transportation if needed.

Hello Families! A little about me is that I grew up taking care of all of my 4 siblings make sure they were fed and taken care of while also making sure the house is being taken care of too, I learned that I loved to clean. When I turned 18 I applied for Americorps and that is where I got to work with kids in preschool and school age kids and I even worked with middle school kids as well! And that is where I worked for about three years gaining more experience everyday working with all types of different kids!
