A little about me is that I grew up taking care of all of my 4 siblings make sure they were fed and taken care of while also making sure the house is being taken care of too, I learned that I loved to clean. When I turned 18 I applied for Americorps and that is where I got to work with kids in preschool and school age kids and I even worked with middle school kids as well! And that is where I worked for about three years gaining more experience everyday working with all types of different kids!

I started babysitting when I was 12 and have continued to throughout my life. I’m a 50 year old mother of two boys, 22 and 20 and we had a dog and multiple cats along the way. I worked at gym daycares when the kids were little as well as traded babysitting with friends with kids. I myself was raised with a younger sister and many animals including a pony, dogs, cats, fish, birds, a bunny, turtles and rats. I spent my summers at our families ranch in Northern California which has horses, cows, dogs, cats, peacocks, turkeys and pheasants. All in all I’ve had the joy of enjoying and taking care of many children and animals through the years and look forward to doing the same with yours.

It began when I started volunteering at my church with the childcare center! I knew I had a passion and decided to go to college for early childhood education. I finished my schooling in 2022 and wanted to explore a teaching career. I then worked in a preschool for almost a year and a half. I became CPR/First Aid certified there and still am! I had my own T-K classroom with 24 children and loved finding fun ways to lead them to learn. This included social studies, math, science, writing, language/literacy, dramatic play, as well as social and emotional in my daily goals. When attendance was low I would “float” to different classes and spend time with all ages, giving me experience with the entire school that was varying from ages 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4. Additionally, I have a younger sister with extreme allergies and a mom with disabilities so I can understand special circumstances and will prioritize your needs and directions with the utmost respect.
