I spent almost 5 years teaching toddlers and preschoolers, ages 18-months to five-years-old, before becoming a full-time nanny for a four-month-old and a five-year-old. When the infant was old enough to attend school, I stepped into an assistant director role at a preschool in my hometown, which is my current full time position. I am CPR and first aid trained, mandated reporter certified, and I obtained a teaching certificate along with 30 child development units, and a degree in social and behavioral sciences.
