I have been a preschool teacher for 5 years and it's my dream job. Working with children is the most rewarding thing I've ever done. In addition to my experience, I have 30 units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education. I've worked with both adults and children with learning and behavioral differences and am kind, compassionate, and nurturing. As a mom of two teenagers, I know how hard it is to trust someone to take care of your children. To learn to distinguish good risks to take from harmful or dangerous risks. I want to encourage them to play hard and I use kindness as a guiding principle in everything. I value a healthy and age-appropriate transparency between child and adult, enough for children to know that adults aren’t perfect and we don’t expect them to be perfect either.
