I’ve also worked as a gymnastics coach which taught me how to control but also appeal to children in various ways! I love animals and own two cats of my own, I also have owned dogs in the past. I created a program working with Autistic boys (1 yr), for 4.5 years I was a Family Builder Specialist and Program Manager, for 2 yrs I was a Child Developmental and Behavioralist Specialist. I have been a temporary, part time, and full time nanny and sitter for over 20years. Over Covid lockdown I ran a private school and course for grades k&1. I volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Adventure Scouts, food kitchens, Women’s DV shelters... Hi! My name is Megan, and I am currently looking for occasional/ part time babysitting or petsitting jobs while I take some gap years before graduate school. I've been babysitting for about 10 years now, but as the oldest sister I've been helping out with my siblings since I was young. I graduated from UCLA in 2023 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. I enjoy learning about health and medicine in the contexts of development and society. Some of my hobbies include drawing, yoga, and eating good food :) I’ve worked with children of different ages, ranging from babies to teenagers, though I have the most experience with babies and kids ages 2 - 5. I am a private school teachers aide for special needs children and have worked with kids aged 6 to 18 in this field. Before being a teacher, I was a respite care provider for special needs children. Overall, I have been in the field professionally for 4 years, but have done nannying since I was 15, for children as young as 3 months! (I am now 23 years old) Before this field, I worked in elderly assisted living. I had a variety of pets growing up and am comfortable caring for animals as well! I am passionate, energetic, and think quick on my feet. I can care for multiple children or pets at a time, and I do not tire easily. I also know a bit of conversational American Sign Language!
