I'm a retired grand mother who's warm, loving, and nurturing. I have five grandchildren, ages ranging from 28 to 5, whom have blessed me with an unlimited amount of experience.

I am 21 years old and I’ve been taking care of children ever since I was 15, helping them with homework, cleaning up after them, meal prep, school pick up/drop off, to/from activities, bedtime routine and so on. I also used to be an english teacher for kids between 4-11. I have experiences with babies older than 1, that includes feeding them, nap time, story time, changing diapers etc. I am currently taking care of 3 kids under 5 M-F and I’m looking for job opportunities on weekends.

My childcare experience encompasses caring for children of all ages. I am a Teacher's assistant/Para Educator for Sunnyvale School District during the school year (Aug-June),going into my 9th year this fall. I primarily work with Preschool aged children in a Special Day class and Inclusion Classroom settings, with both typically developing children and students with Special needs. I'm married and a mother of a 21 year old, 18 year old and a 14 year old with high functioning Autism and ADD. My two younger children and myself are competitive athletes, so when we are not competing or training, I'm looking for a way to use my free time helping others and earning a little bit of extra money to fund my children's endeavors as well as pay the bills during my summer hiatus as an Educator. Prior to working as an educator, I spent 10 years as a stay at home mother raising my children as well as caring for other infants, toddlers and school aged children throughout my adult life. In my spare time over the past 3 years, I have been studying Early Childhood Education and have obtained 10 ECE units while working towards my AA in PreK Education. Throughout my years working with children I have undergone various trainings including but not limited to: Trauma informed practices/care for children, Personalized Oral Language Learning (POLL), Early learning through Play, Mandated reporter Training, Sexual harassment prevention, Safety Care and CPR/First aid. I'm a very active person and enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, reading, music and exercise. I'm able to run, crawl, climb, jump, dance and be active with kids as needed! I am also fluent in Spanish! I love animals and I have a dog, cat and chickens, so I'm open to helping care for pets as well! I have had my class C drivers license for 20 years (additionally class M for 3 years), full coverage auto insurance and a reliable personal car which accommodates 7 passengers total. A last piece of info about me, is that prior to becoming a mother I worked for Merry Maids and am no stranger to cleaning as well as cooking and running errands.
