With 3+ years of childcare experience, I am all about having fun while being safe and comfortable! For the last 2 almost 3 years I have worked as a camp counselor. I love adventures, doing crafts and even playing fun games to keep the spirits high and mind learning. I am First Aid and CPR certified, as safety is my #1. A bit about me: I am a preschool teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Novato, and have been working there for 4 years now. I work daily with children ages 2-4. I am graduating this spring with an AS degree in Child and Family Studies from Napa Valley College, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. Prior to teaching, I also have several years of experience babysitting children ages 0-10, including babysitting for individual families, and providing childcare for large groups of children at events. I love working with children and am fascinated by the process of their development! Their little minds are absolutely intriguing. I love to play and experiment alongside them, and my approach to discipline and teaching is very much based in authoritative parenting style (aka gentle parenting) and play-based learning.
