Hello! My name is Christine. I have been babysitting for several years. My first official job at 13 years old was through a work force program that allowed me to be a daycare worker and summer camp counselor at the daycare. I have several cousins and a handful of nieces and nephews that I have cared for before, during, and after my mother had her own daycare in our home. And I am currently a Substitute teacher focusing on Early Childhood Education! This means I am thrown into rooms with all the younger age groups every day or few weeks, learning new children regularly and adapting to new environments. I was in the medical field for several years and was most recently running a non-profit Doula training organization. However, I find the most joy in nurturing children and helping their little minds grow!

I’m kind and caring and follow instructions, I do my service to the best of my ability whether it’s watching someone’s fur baby or watching over someone’s home.

Hi! My name is Emma! I’m from San Francisco, I moved to Boulder last fall for school. I major in art therapy and psychology. I have been working with kids for several years. I currently work in childcare. I am certified in through the Colorado shines professional development system in these areas, introduction to early intervention in preschool special education programs, infant safe sleep practices, introduction to CPR and first aid, prevention and control of infectious diseases, preventing shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma, amongst other various trainings for early childhood professionals. I love working with kids, they truly warm my heart and encourage me to be my best self every day.

I was recently thinking of a way to assist parents (single parents), as a mom whose had both married and single years. Then, I came across UrbanSitters. I have four children, who are now all adults. For sure, there were those who assisted me during the single years with my children, when they were little, and I would like to do the same for other parents in return. Sometimes parents need a little assistance with running errands, pick-ups, of just have a sitter sit some hours so parents can take a breather and free up more time for family time. I have an associates degree in medical administration and finishing up a bachelor degree in criminal justice. I have worked in the business, medical and judicial settings, pretty much since graduating high school. Children are precious gifts and are naturally funny at times, looking to explore their new world safely. I loved taking care of my own children, as well as relatives and friends children. I love reading, music, movies, and the outdoors. My availability is pretty flexible but it changes.
