I've been watching my younger siblings since they were born and I started babysitting for kids in my neighborhood. I have also helped out my god mom in her daycare. As well as working in a couple of Daycares. I love kids of all ages. I enjoy seeing them hit their milestones and overall watching them grow. I love to go out and do activities with them. As a mom of three, grandmother of three, and a former K-3 teacher (B.S. Ed from Miami University), I bring a wealth of experience and a calm, organized energy to every home. Beyond my background as a YMCA camp director, I am a graduate of the Paws-Ability dog training program and am comfortable caring for everything from high-energy dogs like my Australian Shepherd, Piper, to smaller friends like turtles and birds. I find working with children, the elderly, and pets to be very rewarding. Part of my volunteer experience includes spending time with Veterans in assisted living or memory care. I love hearing stories they share about their life and watching their face light up as they relive the memory. I have learned so much from the wealth of knowledge elderly have. Watching children master tasks they are given because of your guidance is so satisfying. Just being around the pure, genuine, honest, curious, carefree and unfiltered perspective on the world that children have is so refreshing. It motivates me to provide them with the best possible environment to keep that curiosity alive. The unconditional bond that develops as you work with animals is so pure and incredibly rewarding. Animals don’t have hidden agendas, they love you unconditionally. They are loyal and are always so happy to see you. My current work in accessibility has given me a deep appreciation for clear communication and attentive care. Hi, I'm Liz. I am a mother of 2 adult children and currently a grandmother to my 2 year old grand daughter. I am comfortable with newborns through teens, and elder care. I love dogs but am allergic to cats. I'm available for babysitting, errand running, cooking, cleaning, house sitting, pet sitting, or just to keep someone company or do a wellness check. I have a safe car. I love dancing and singing and playing educational games, cards, riding bikes, going to the park, and having fun in general. I am very well versed in assisting elderly clients with mobility, including wheelchair bound clients. I can help organize closets, cleaning, and general housework. I generally don't work weekends but can make exceptions. I am happy, healthy, and very personable. I ran my own business for 30 years but it got wiped out due to covid, so I am trying to work doing something I love, which is taking care of people/pets.
