Hi there! My name is Jonny and I am an undergraduate student at Boston University studying psychology with interests in mental health research and child psychology. I live on campus in a beautiful brownstone apartment and I spend most of my time studying or with friends. I am offering child, senior, pet, and house care services. I have experience working with inner-city Boston kids (ages 8-12) at the Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures camp, where I learned how to connect with kids with all different kinds of temperaments and personalities. My responsibilities there ranged from helping kids with arts and crafts to conflict resolution when kids were having tough days with one another. I enjoy doing any activities that seem to best engage the kids, whether it be playing games, reading with them, or singing along to songs. I have also been a peer tutor at the high school and university levels, with competency across maths, sciences, english, and social sciences, with some basic french and spanish language skills. I am experienced in various forms of childcare; I’ve been babysitting since I was a preteen, I have about a year and a half of infant and toddler daycare experience, and have over four years of experience working with autistic children of nearly all ages.
