Hi! My name is Rachel (Ray) and I am 21 years old. I go to Northeastern as a Psych/Human Services student. I have worked at Perkins School for the Blind in special education as a teacher’s assistant for a little over a year with teenagers and young adults. I also have been a volunteer tutor with elementary aged kids for a little over two years. I love art and music (I have a guitar I love to bring), sensory, getting energy out and being silly.

I am college student here at Fisher College looking to help out on my free time. I was a preschool teacher for 1-3 year olds during the summer and I loved working and teaching them. I also have a passion for animals and my whole life I have lived and grown up with dogs and cats. I have a dog named Maia and a cat named Beatrice so any help needed with pets are my expertise. Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, or just keeping kids engaged with fun activities (and yes, I’m definitely the type to build forts or play games with them 😊). Overall, I just aim to create a space where kids feel comfortable and cared for, and where parents feel at ease knowing everything is in good hands.
