I have worked in education for about 10+ years. I worked with students from K-12 as a substitute teacher, ESL teacher, math and science teacher. I love pets, specifically dogs. I continue looking for new opportunities to work with young people. It informs my approach to teaching and developing safe spaces for young people to thrive.

Hi I'm Morgan! I'm 24 years old and just graduated from nursing school. I'll be studying this summer to take the licensure exam but I'm hoping to babysit while I do so. I come from a big family of seven and have always enjoyed being around kids. I worked in a child care center and a sitter in high school, and also volunteered for a year at Dell Children's Medical Center. I have babysat for families since I was 16 with their ages ranging from newborns to school-aged. I've decided to get into sitting again because of the flexibility it provides for my schedule, and I'm hoping I can be of service to yours as well.

I have a strong background in caregiving, supported by both my education and hands-on experience. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which has given me a deep understanding of emotional development, communication, and how to support individuals with patience and empathy. In terms of experience, I have worked with children in both structured and informal settings, helping with daily routines, play, and emotional support. I’m comfortable managing different age groups and understand the importance of creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. I also have experience assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and organization, which helps keep things running smoothly for families. My personality is one of my biggest strengths as a caregiver. I am patient, dependable, attentive, and compassionate. I take the time to understand each person’s unique needs and adjust my approach accordingly. I’m also very responsible and communicative, so families can feel confident that their loved ones are in good hands. Additionally, I am comfortable around pets and can assist with basic pet care, including feeding, walking, and providing attention. I am an Early Childhood Educator with over twenty years of experience caring for and educating young children. I hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education with a minor concentration in Infants and Toddlers, as well as a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently a classroom preschool teacher in Baltimore City. I have experience with infants and toddlers, including twins. In addition to teaching, I’ve also owned my own registered home day care, and nannied for multiple families. I believe children are competent and capable and learn best through play and hands on activities. I am a responsive caregiver with an extensive background in social emotional learning. I enjoy gardening, hiking, camping, crafts and reading in my spare time. I have two cats and feel comfortable with dogs and other small pets.
