Hi! My name is Shawnshay, and I’m excited to introduce myself! I am a mother of two—a 5- year-old and an 11-month-old—so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children. I currently work as a special education assistant in the Minneapolis school district and have been in this role for the past five years. I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with emotional and behavioral needs, from kindergarten through 6th grade. Before this, I worked as a teacher’s assistant in a daycare setting for over four years, caring for children from infants to school age. I truly enjoy working with kids and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them. In my free time, I love arts and crafts and spending time outdoors—activities I enjoy sharing with children to keep them engaged and happy!
