Hi - my name is Amanda! I’ve been working with kids for about 8 years, starting when I was 13. I have experience with babies as young as 6 weeks all the way up to school-aged children. I’ve worked in several daycare settings, but most of my experience comes from babysitting and nannying. I’m currently part of a nanny share and truly adore the kids I care for. Along with creating safe and fun environments, I’m also happy to help with light household tasks like tidying up after the kids or any small things parents might need. In my free time, you’ll usually find me at home with my cats, shopping, reading, or watching TV. My name is Sarah. I am 22 years old and currently a senior online at The King's University. I am planning to go get my master's of Arts in Clinical Counseling in the fall. I do have my own car. I have a really big family so I have been babysitting kids for as long as I can remember. When I was 16, I watched my 6-month-old cousin for a weekend by myself. I have tons of cousins between the ages of 0-15 whom I have babysat on many occasions. I have watched multiple kids at the same time on many occasions as well. My mom worked at a daycare for teachers' kids for a few months and I helped out a couple of times there also. I have more recently been working with a nanny company in Raleigh NC. During my time at this job, I was with multiple families. I helped them do laundry, and dishes and (most importantly and fun) played with the kids. I am very sad to leave and have only been due to moving to KC, Missouri. I love kids and I understand the importance of who influences a young life. When I babysit, it is important to me that the child has the attention they need. I had babysitters often when I was younger and I know that sometimes when they didn't play games with me or always engage with me it hurt my feelings. With that in mind, I am willing to help with homework as well as play games and engage with your kids. I am a certified nursing aide who has experience with senior care in a senior living facility. I have CPR and basic life support certifications as well. I have a brother who is a toddler that I regular babysit. As well as various other family friends children. In addition, I have experience in caring for animals such as dogs, as I have three dogs myself and I regularly care for my friends animals as well. I am a very flexible and lively individual who can find fun activities for anyone and everyone to participate in!
