Hi - my name is Amanda! I’ve been working with kids for about 8 years, starting when I was 13. I have experience with babies as young as 6 weeks all the way up to school-aged children. I’ve worked in several daycare settings, but most of my experience comes from babysitting and nannying. I’m currently part of a nanny share and truly adore the kids I care for. Along with creating safe and fun environments, I’m also happy to help with light household tasks like tidying up after the kids or any small things parents might need. In my free time, you’ll usually find me at home with my cats, shopping, reading, or watching TV. I have experience with kids, pets, and household chores. I like to keep busy so anything you need I'd be happy to do. My experience I am the third of 10 cousins and an older sister. I have helped teach summer schools and Bible schools assisting with children pre-k to 6th grade. I can play games, assist with homework and anything else. I can help with pets too. My household has had 3 dogs, 4 cats, a bunny and snake, as well as fish. I can dog walk, scoop litter, feed, play, etc. I can also clean and organize your home. Last summer I helped elderly folks clean and declutter and enjoyed that so much. I can sweep, vaccume, wash dishes, and do laundry. We have a 2 year old English cream golden retriever named Willow and rescued an Australian Shepard mutt named Smudge from KC pet Project back in August last year. I work as an open heart surgical nurse and it’s the best job I’ve ever had. I love caring for others and that extends to my love for animals.
