Hello! My name is Anna, and I’m a Columbia University graduate student, studying speech therapy! I am compassionate, enthusiastic, open-minded, educated, and looking for work for any age or gender across the lifespan!
I have lived in three states and abroad in four countries, and pride myself in my cultural competence, and ability to deliver meaningful care to all populations.
I have experience working with children from ages 2-16, including children with Autism, ADHD, and speech delays, in my work as a graduate student clinician of speech therapy at Columbia University. Additionally, I have extensive experience in childcare through my International Summer Childcare Internship in Saudi Arabia!
I have experience working with seniors, in medical settings as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA,) and outside medical settings as a graduate student clinician of speech-language pathology & in caretaking for senior neighbors and relatives.
In my work as a CNA, I obtained thorough experience in assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, grooming and hygiene, toileting, and more! I have extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities of all types.
My work as a CNA, as well as 4+ years in the service industry, have given me experience in household services, and I pride myself on giving every job my 110%. I am a quick learner, and am willing to be flexible to what works for YOU!
Some of my areas of specialty include English-language tutoring and immersion, writing tutoring, home health support, basic meal prep, public transportation & attending appointments, event & activity planning, and working across cultures and nationalities.
I am a fluent native English speaker, and have working ability in Spanish and ASL. I am CPR and Basic Life Support certified. I have been background checked extensively and am certified within the NYC DOE.
